a funny thing happened to me...i was online chatting and all the sudden this girl imed me asking for asl...well i was honest with her i told her i was male from north carolina and that i was 26...what was her reply you might ask? "your old!" it kinda shocked me. i never really saw even being 30 as over the hill. yet young teens today think 25 is "old". what's worse is they judge you for being older! of course i'm not saying all teens are like that but just the way she was struck me as shallow. because you get older does that mean you cease to become useful and desirable? i guess our society premotes being young as hip and cool..that once you get a certain age you can longer have fun...man that sure would suck if it were true! lol. fortunatelly i've kept my inner child alive and can have just as much fun as any teenager i know. it seems like our society has a huge generation gap the young ppl seem to fear or mistrust the older ppl and i think every person in their prime is afraid of progressing in age. i think many ppl fear death and becoming elderly...it used to be elders were respected..now they are looked down upon..goddess i love america! lol

Speaking for the "older" crowd (I'm 32) it doesn't matter how old you are, I still have loads of fun doing thing I used to do and I get to do more things. Yes you change as you age but that doesn't mean you're a different person, if anything it means you're more diverse in you experiences

damn... I'd hope people don't think that 30 is over the hill...
some people are different...
that comment comming from a teenage (i'm assuming) girl probably had a lot to do with it.

i didn't know her age vyers but the immaturity of her statement proably means she is younger..then again with age does not necessarily come wisdom..i have teenaged friends that are very mature and i know girls in their 20's that haven't got over their fake "i wanna live it up and marry a handsome rich man that will take care of me!" phase. it all depends on the individual..

The trick to growing old is STAYING young at heart. I was just telling Lathan tonight that I still feel like I'm 18, instead of going on 34. I love my games just as much and they keep getting better year after year. But I can feel 40 coming on, and it doesn't scare me a bit. The only thing I care about is when the next Final Fantasy is coming out. I'll be a 80 year old man, still playing RPG's. That is if the Nurse's Aid can keep me awake long enough.

bah i got an uncle whos 50 and he still races me first to get smashed its all great as long as you dont change on teh inside like ya do on teh outside lol.
There really is nothing thats over the hill mentally yet people base too much on physical preception since, well, most people these days are shallow...at least most 14-17 yr olds that i know are and some 18-25 yr olds are also it really depends on how much of a baka you are and what you base your judgement on.
Just threaten to kiss her with false teeth 'look i can take it outa my mouth kissy kissy awww come on' and have some fun with the comment lol
