For anyone who wishes to join follow the link in my profile. Everyone who has posted a character can post here. Now lets begin this thing shall we.

Selena

Thunder boomed ominously in the dark night sky as lightning streaked down and exploded into the ground somewhere nearby to create a deafening explosion. Cold rain poured down upon the land of Napthia as a woman trudges through the thick muds that were the pathways and roads. Sorrow and despair filled Selena to the very core, emotions she had never felt before, and ones she most definitely didn’t like. Her body was numb form the rain, so cold she felt as if she would never be warm again.

Her hands were clutched into fists around the handles of her twin tonfa’s. Numbed as they were she felt she could never let them go. They were still behind her, the assassins sent by Ravin. They would not give up, even after the death of one of their own. She did not even know how she had escaped that last encounter, most likely by some stroke of immense luck.

A tear rolled down her cheek, another thing she had never done. Crying was for mortal humans, and she did not enjoy that either. “You enjoying this aren’t you?” she asked through sobs, glancing up at the heavens where her fellow gods and goddesses were most likely watching. She hated them for what they had done to her, for what they were making her go through. Even more so, she hated the humans for the weakness to suck emotions.

The glowing lights of a town came into view as she trudges on, tears streaming freely down her cheeks. She must gain control of herself. But how? She was not used to such feelings. She had not grown up having to deal with them all her life. When she had been a Goddess she had loved and respected humans. Now she thought them pathetic and miserable.

Finally she reached the edge of the town, there would have to be an inn of some sort somewhere. Not that it mattered, she had no money anyway. How the other ethereal being expected her to survive was completely beyond her... Her knees gave out, nd she fell into the mud. The cold, the sorrow she was experiencing was finally beginning to overcome her. Her vision swam, blurring until finally, darkness surrounded her...

Aaron

The cold rain numbed him to the bone. Unrelenting winds of harsh cold whipped at his back, only adding to the freezing feeling. The mud was quickly growing thicker, making every step even more difficult then the first. No he would certainly need a drink once he reached the town, who’s lights he could see ahead. They better have rum, and pretty maids. A drink just wasn’t the same when an attractive maid was not there to serve it.

He kept himself wrapped in the cloak he had boughten for the night as best he could, though the wind kept sending it out of his grasp. Occupied as he was with thoughts of the nice, comfortable, warm inn; and a beautiful, delicious cup of rum, he did not see the form of a woman on the ground, and tripped over her, falling into the mud. So close, he had come to screaming and cursing some drunken fool for falling in the street, but he held his tongue, seeing a woman.

He moved to her, inspecting her carefully, she appeared unconscious, and was cold to the bone. Even colder then he. “Hold on miss..” he whispered softly as if she could hear him as he lifted ger from the ground. “I’ll get you to a nice soft bed in no time.” He kicked the door of the in open, immediately shouting that he needed a room and some towels quickly. A woman, one quite larger then he, took the unconscious lady from him, saying that it was a job for a woman not a man.

“I’ll tell you when she is cleaned up and in a comfortable bed..” The woman said before she disappeared upstairs. “That’s my wife,” the innkeeper explained as Aaron took a seat at the bar. “What can I get ya?” Aaron was quiet a moment, drinking in the warmth this place held. He was in rapture, who would have thought warmth would ever be so loved and appreciated.

“I’ll have a rum...”

Ravin

In the land of Iilumia, the wind screamed by at speeds faster than any horse. The wind moved all the leaves on the nearby trees, making a loud rustling sound. The wind pushed past the blades of grass which were about five feet in height. The blades had continuously stung Ravin like what felt like hundreds of whips, making small welts on his body. He hardly felt it though. He was to angry and humiliated to feel anything at the moment. He had been sent to live as a human on the planet for his crimes, but the gods "forgot" to send him any clothes.

Ravin had been travelling for about 10 hours now, looking for some sort of life. He pushed through the seemingly endless field, until he came across two fighters in the horizon. They were both covered in elaborite armor and cloths. The two fighters were just standing there, waiting for one to make a move. Ravin layed belly first in the ground in order to hide from the fighters and to watch the fight. One of the fighters slashed at the other, missing. The other one slashed almost instantly, cutting the man in the chest, killing him instantly. The man had sheathed his sword and walked away from the body. Ravin ran to the man laying there, dead. He checked his armor, but it was to badly damaged for him to wear, so he picked up the mans sword, snuck up behind the other fighter walking away, and stabbed him in the back. The man tried to crawl away, begging for mercy, but Ravin kicked the mans sword out from his hand, and stabbed him in the back once more, killing him instantly. He stripped the man of all his clothes, and put them on himself. They fitted perfectly. He looked at the sword of the man he just killed, and threw it aside.

Ravin travelled for about three more miles, until he came across a cavern. There was a ceremony going on inside of it. Ravin stood on the side, hidden from the men that were already inside. He noticed a woman laying there with her neck on a block of wood. A large man came out of the darkness and lifted a large curved sword above his head. He said a couple of words, but he was to far away to hear. All he heard was his name. Apperently a ritual was going on in his name. The man lifted the sword up and quickly brought it down, decapitating the woman. The man put the sword against a wall and walked over to the head. He carried it to another part of the cave, where the others followed.

Ravin walked over to the sword and lifted it up. He had found the perfect sword. The other men had came out quickly and looked at the man as if they planned on killing them. Ravin lifted the sword as if he was going to kill them, but then the men knelt down, somehow knowing that he was their god. Ravin was home. He had the beginnings of an army , a good suit of armor and a nice sword. He told his men the first thing to do was to find the human commander of his army, Trenton Obolisk. He had a mission for him.

Devon

Devon had walked around through a field filled with large blades of grass, a couple of large red leafed trees, and a horizon that seemed like it was in a different country. He had just got out of a village where he was hired as the village mage. In his line of work he helped people out with his magic. Mostly he did black magic, but he used it for good. He used ice spells to combat fires started by local punks and bandits, and used fire during large snowstorms to help warm the villagers. But no matter what he done, the villagers still thought of him as a freak and an outcast. Devon was banished from his town for the fact he struck an "innocent" villager with a bolt of lightning. The man was not killed, but we could not ever walk again. He travelled out of the village to stock up on some supplies that his magic required. He travelled through a field for what seemed to be eternity. He was trying to get to the village of Cyphas, where they have some of the best shops for scrolls and potions. On his way there he had come across a paper laying in the middle of nowhere. He opened it up and read that the gods have been banished from the heavens. He knew that the god, Ravin, had powers unknown to man or demon. He wanted to learn these spells at any cost. These spells could be the one thing that could make Devon himself a god.

Walking through the field he noticed two dead bodies on the ground, one in armor with a large slash through the torso, and the other one was naked, with two stabs in the back. Both were covered in blood. In his "good" nature, he decided to follow some footsteps trailing away from the bodies. He figured that he could find the bandit, kill him for fun, and get a payment for the capture. He lost track of the footsteps once it went into the grass, but he noticed a cavern up ahead.

He walked up to the cavern and saw there was someone inside of it. He got a chill down his spine before he even saw the mans face, but he knew who it was. He slowly walked up to the mysterious man, and knelt down. "I come in peace. I have recently heard of your banishment. I have come to offer my services. I am very skilled in the arts of dark magic." Devon said. Devon stood up, and was about to walk out when he heard: "Before I can have you at my side, I must test you to see if you are worthy. My foe, Selena, has recently been discovered by some of my assassins. I want you to go find her and kill anyone that is at her side. My commander has been ordered to bring her to me personally, so do not fret about her. All I want you to do is bring me the heads of her guardians.". Devon gained the information to Selenas whereabouts. He set out to some small town in Napthia, with the intention of gaining the trust of Ravin.

Fahorn

The dark elf sat quietly in the corner of the Hornborg Inn enjoying the playful arguments of the drunk travellers of the place. The Inn was nestled in a valley in the center of the three largest mountains in Iilumina. There was no town surrounding it, but it made good business, for every one wishing to cross the border from Iilumina to Napthia had two choices; climb over the mountain, or walk through the valley?

Fahorn was far from drunk as he sipped his wine. He was fairly good at hiding his heritage from the denizens with his cowl pulled low and candle next to him out, not by coincidence I might add. He wasn't looking for a fight, for a drow, publicity was the worst thing possible. But still, he was no mind flayer, he couldn't control the other people who became curious of the mysterious ranger sitting in the corner.

"'Ello there sir!" cried the bartender, as he staggered over to the dark elf, "mighten you be havin' another glass o' that wine?"

"No, but thank you" Fahorn replied to the drunk.

"Are ye sure 'bout that?" The bartender pressed, "this be the finest wine in all o' Nasuru! And it be only five schillings a glass!"

"No sir, but thank you." Fahorn set his glass down and stood up, "I'll have to be going now."

As Fahorn stood up the bartender reached down to his belt. Now he wasn't the biggest man in the planet, but he looked like someone not to be reckoned with...by a commoner.

"You don't want to do that." Fahorn said sharply as the man continued to produce a small dagger from a his belt.

The man stopped. "Aye? and what would ye do 'bout it?"

They were attracting to much attention the drow realized. The bartender was being...well...stupid isn't the word for it...he was being drunk. He still hadn't realized that Fahorn was a dark elf, and if he did that would only cause more problems, but the scene in the corner had started to draw attention. Not only because it looked like the beginnings of a fight, but because of the absense of the bartender at the bar.

A young man wondered over to see what was going on. He didn't look drunk though, it came across as strange to Fahorn. Maybe there was something different about him. He looked normal, like a commoner, but there was an air about him that made the ranger think twice. Regardless the dark elf had no time to ponder such things, he turned his attention back to the growing matter at hand.

Now more people had shuffled over, and the bartender had extended his dagger to point directly at Fahorn, with his left arm curled back and level, his feet bouncing back and forth. Quite an amusing stance, the experience fighter thought, but he didn't want to fight the guy...maybe I shouldn't say that. He wanted to fight the guy, he wanted to put a blade right through his oversized stomach, but he didn't need any bad publicity right now, he was actually on a mission this time.

"C'mon, fight me you fool!" mused the bartender, not knowing he had no chance. The crowd started to realize what was going on and cheered the two men on.

Fahorn stepped to the side of the circle the inn-goers had formed around them, "I don't need this bullshit right now," but the drunk idiot right on the inside of the circle didn't step aside to let the ranger out, instead he violently pushed him back torward the ready bartender. Fahorn's cowl fell backwards, all went silent, and the bartender stumbled backwards.

"Damnit!" Fahorn yelled, "now everybody listen!" he turned in circles so everybody could see him, and he could see everybody. "I don't want fight here! No one make any stupid moves or you're in for it. If you don't want die back off right now and go to your rooms!" He waited for movement, there was no use hiding his face now, it wouldn't do any good. After a few moments many of the people went to there rooms, including the bartender who walked off into a back room, now sober.

There were four braves left there, one was the young man, who Fahorn now had more time to study.

"So do you want to fight me? Or is it just that you don't care if you die?"

"I don't care if I die," one man said, "I don't have anything to live for." The other three were silent.

"I don't need any trouble here," Fahorn said again, "don't follow me, or surely you'll die, and you," the ranger said pointing at the man who spoke, "if you don't have anything to live for, then find something." All of a sudden the drow lept onto a table and ran out the door into the pounding rain.

Immediately he knew he was being followed but ran about a mile anyway just to see if they would stop. They didn't. He turned and saw them bounding toward them, it was three of the men from the Inn, the three that weren't the strange young man. He decided to fight them, it wouldn't be hard, and so far away from the Inn, who would find out he killed them? immediately they squared off.

One of them came towards him first, he still didn't take out his weapons. The man came at him with two long knives, which actually looked like meat knives. He attacked with an overhead blow with one knife and came in from the side with the other, the drow grabbed the wrist the was coming in from above, and kicked away the other hand with his boot. Now he was spread wide, Fahorn twisted his wrist down below his waist, and landed a punch squared on his nose, which snapped with a blood-curtling crack. The man lurched backwards, then dropped both knives and fell to the ground grabbing at his face trying to stem the blood flow.

Now the other two men came on to him at the same time. The one coming from the right weilded a short sword, the one coming from infront of him a mace. He planted his foot right next to a knife that was dropped and then let them come on to him. In one movement at the last second, flipped the knife up into his hand and grabbed the mace of his attacker and spun behind him driving home in his back with the knife and yanked it out again and launched it at the other with the sword who surprisingly batted it away.

The drow ranger took the mace out of the dead man's hand and kicked him to the ground and bashed in his skull sending blood all over the wet ground and then threw the mace with all his might at the remaining man, and if you've ever parried away a mace thrown at you, struggled to block it but still remained afoot. Fahorn was the one to rush him this time, he ran at him and grabbed his sword hand, all the while sliding a foot behind him and bringing it forward in order to trip him. The man fell to the ground sword still in hand and kicked at Fahorn who dodged it perfectly and then spun to have his foot meet the man square on the forehead.

He loosed his grip on the sword and the ranger took it out of his hand and drove the blade home right through his heart and then yanked it free of his broken ribs. Fahorn spat on the man and then walked over to the one with the broken nose still writhing about on the ground. This time he got a closer look and realized it was the one who "had nothing to live for."

"I told you to find something to live for!" Fahorn yelled over the howling winds and pounding rain. "So you choose death over life!? Well then let it be!" And with those final words gouged the short sword right through the already wretched man's heart...

(Italicised = flashback, and sorry guys, I don't have enough of an attention span to write as much as you all are. And this is supposed to be confusing, so you may need to read it a couple times. Finally, forgive the poor writing structure, it is quite late right now and I'm not at my best.)

Raniel stood at the door of his training hall, holding what weapons he could. "I guess I'm not welcome here anymore," he said, and mounted his steed and took off, utterly dissapointed. He cared not where he went, so he simply ran against the wind.

"Master!" cried Aliusius. Raniel turned around to see Aliusius standing there with a severed human hand in his own hands, eagerly showing his master.
"Is this what you disturbed me for? To show me the hand of a child?" the master bellowed.
"Master, please forgive me for disturbing you, but this was the hand of a general of the army! You told me to go out and find a worthy opponent, and I did! And here's the proof!" He showed his master the army's ring still on the severed hand.
"Your lack of wounds says otherwise, boy." The master rose from his chair. "Maybe you need a more powerful opponent."
Raniel drew closer to the blonde-haired boy. "Would you fight with me?" he asked.
Aliusius stuttered, "I-I can't fight with YOU..."
Raniel put up his katana. "Well you're about to! I'll show you what a truly worthy opponent is!"

Raniel stood in the ideal defensive stance, waiting for the boy to strike him. Unfortunately for Raniel, the prodigous boy saw through his stance, and put up a sound defensive position as well.
Unfortunately for Aliusius, Raniel's katana's tip was pointed higher towards the ceiling than he thought.
Unfortunately for Raniel's katana, the boy had gotten his sword sharpened by a master weaponsmith while he was out.
Aliusius sliced through Raniel's katana, and the anxiety on his face turned to astonishment.

Aliusius had no idea what to say. He knew that he should gloat to boost his self esteem, as his master taught him, but he had never prepared for this. Raniel, instead, spoke. "Well done boy. It seems you have become indeed strong. I underestimated you."
"M-master..."
"Perhaps it is time for you to graduate from this acadamey. Go home. I will see you tomorrow" The master said.

As the boy turned to leave the dojo, his master spoke once more. "Aliusius."
"Yes, Master Raniel?"
Suddenly, Raniel stabbed his most advanced student with his poisoned spear. "I lied to you. A coward like you with that much fear in his eyes is not worthy of even entering this acadamey, let alone exit." He left his student there to bleed to death.
The government officials would be here soon. "I guess I'm not welcome here anymore."

Ulrich

In the storm that had just befalled the town, Ulrich had trien to find cover. He had been trudging through the mud for a good 2 hours before he finally saw a village in the horizon. It looked cold still with noone out in the streets, but it looked warmer than where he was at the moment.

He walked to the top of a hill to get a good view of the village. He noticed a open tavern on near the outskirts of town that was nearly empty. There was only one person sitting at the bar. He looked like he was about to freeze to death, but he was wide awake. Ulrich walked over to the bar and right before he walked in, he noticed a small sparkle in the treeline. Someone was watching him. He could not make out the object, but he knew it was human.......somewhat. Ulrich opened up the door and walked into the bar. He sat down about 2 seats from the man. The inkeeper was busy serving the mysterious man, so Ulrich helped himself by quickly reaching behind the bar, grabbing a bottle of rum with a lion emblem, and quickly put it in his bag. He pulled out the bottle from his bag as if he brought it in himself. He looked over at the man and asked him if he cared for a drink. He accepted the drink and started talking to Ulrich as if he knew him. He told him that his name was Aaron. He mentioned that a woman that was nearly frozen to death was in here as well.

But as soon as he said that, five men smashed the door open. The men were dressed up in black ninja gear with red trimming. On thier chest was an emblem that had the mark of Ravin. The men started to trash the place by throwing tables and chairs all over the place. One of the men had the nerve to try and stab Ulrich. He quiclky dodged the attack, went behind his enemy, and pulled out a knife with his right hand. He stabbed the knife straight through the back of the ninjas neck. He quiclky pulled out the knife and slashed another assassin in the chest. With his other hand he took a small bomb out of his bag and slammed it through the ninjas new cut, lodging the bomb within him. The assassin stood no chance. Two of the ninjas went after Aaron, but Ulrich could not see what was going on. He was busy fighting the last one. He pulled out his other knife and kicked him outside. The shinobi ran at Ulrich with his sword sticking straight out. He had the intention of impaling him through the chest. Ulrich quickly jumped into the air and spun around with his leg sticking straight out. He kicked the sword out of the way. While in mid-air, he slashed the assassin in the neck with his left handed knife, and he spun once more once he hit the ground, slashing the attacker in the gut with his right hand knife. Ulrich went back into his fighting pose, looking at the man. The man stood for about three seconds until he fell down face first, dead. "Pathetic, I thought you ninjas were supposed to be difficult!"

-Edge, would run down the stairs of the temple toward the enchanted forest of the north. Before reaching the last stair he would levitate above the tree tops. Making a direct south route hoping he could follow the route of the Central river, to the mouth which spilled into the Grabacr River. The mouth of the central river met the Grabacr right at the edge of the city. Yes, the people of the continent had gotten a bit lazy when naming the central river. But it was literal...the river ran pretty much through the whole continent.

After about 3 hours of flying...he looked down. He landed on the ground and began to munch on some apples. Mm...APPLES..wee...then in a mysterious manner he snuck away and flew up through the tree tops. Seeing the river over the next mountain. He dove downward and flew right above the river. His own body splitting the air had caused the water directly below him to shoot some mist up at him. It was refreshing. He then remembered that the river went on for atleast a thousand miles before it bent and poured into the Grabacr River. He quickened his pace and flew onward taking in the scenery-

Aaron

When the assassin’s had come charging through the door, Aaron had, at first, assumed they were after the newcomer. After all it was he who last entered. However, his assumption became clearly incorrect, when two of the fools lunged at him, their curved, sinister looking blades bared. Although, Aaron did not move instantly, but instead waited until the last moment, he was still more than quick enough to snap himself back out of the first blades path. It sank into the wood of the bar with a clunk, and before the man could pull it free Aaron had wrapped his arm around his and twisted it backward just enough to make him release his grip before he kicked the assassin in the chest, sending his body flinging backward as Aaron’s stool tipped over with him still on it.

Ironically enough, his falling allowed him to pass under the blade of the second man, who had tried to take off his head. A lucky coincidence, it seemed. The stool clattered to the ground, as Aaron used his momentum to carry him into a roll backwards and came to his feet to meet the second assassin yet again. The man’s curved blade arched through the air repeatedly. Trying without success to wound the weapon master, who moved fluidly to allow the blade to pass by until, at last, his chance to strike came.

It al really led down to a small mistake, one most people would never notice or take advantage of. The assassin put just a little too much strength into a swing, and it carried him just a little farther than he wanted. For that instant, he was just a little off balance, and Aaron struck quickly. His right hand shot out, seizing the man’s wrist before he twisted it backward and pulled the man toward him. In the sudden painful movement, the assassin released his blade and it clattered to the ground. Aaron’s left hand shot up, colliding with the mans face with enough power to shatter the nose bone. Before he swept the leg and left the black clad warrior on the ground to deal with his broken and bloodied face.

The other assassin had just retrieved his sword, and had spilled Aaron’s drink upon doing so. His hand moved behind him, drawing the seemingly simple knife with a short hiss of steel. He thought he saw a smile stretch across the assassin’s features before he charged, his blade raising. There was a strange metallic click, and the blade of the knife fell from the handle. The chain continued to grow, as Aaron spun, the blade a vivid metallic blur as it twirled around him with deadly grace. All that could be heard was the sound of ripping cloth and shearing flesh, along with a single grunt of pain from the foolish assassin. Aaron had spun right by him, and now the man was standing motionless. There was a moments pause, and then blood began cascading from countless cuts all across the man’s body. The fools knees shook, before his entire form collapsed in a heap of dead lifeless flesh and blood.

With his back to the second assassin, Aaron, at first, did not appear to realize the man was standing again. Blood was still falling from his nose, but he somehow managed to find his sword and was seeing just fine. He did not charge as his foolish companion did, but instead chose to stand his ground, defensively. There was a second click, and the man visibly tensed. However, he could not have been prepared for a blade to shoot by Aaron’s neck fully on its own. The chain extending to an impossibly long length as it snaked around the assassins throat. The sword clattered to the ground again, the man now filled with fear.

In the next instant, there was the sound of flesh being torn, and the man’s screams of immense pain before the shearing blade cut beyond his throat, and he could speak no more. Blood was literally spraying into the air, the rest cascading down the man’s body in horrid tyrants. The knife and the chain of magic continued to encircle deeper into the man’s flesh, until finally, his head rolled from his shoulders and fell to the ground...

Devon

Standing in the treeling, hiding from the others, he had conjured up a spell. He took the uniforms from Ravins soldiers that have died before, and put in his power of shadows within them. Instantly, he brought the uniforms to life. He was about to sent then to the tavern when one of the protectors of Selena sat. Another man had walked up to the tavern and looked to his side. He had noticed that someone was standing there with a slight sparkle above it. The sparkle came from Devons scissors reflecting off of the moonlight. He sent them in after the men started talking for a bit.

Devon watched the two men fight his assassins, and how they killed them ever so easily. He was dissapointed. He put his hand out with his fingers pointing to the fallen fighters. He commanded the shadow to return to him. The assassins started to release some sort of secretion that was pitch black. The shadows started to flow quicklky out the door and towards Devon. The ninjas quickly turned into dust right before the mens eyes. The shadows travelled to Devon, where he absorbed them into his hand like a sponge.

Devon stood there, knowing that if he didnt do something, Ravin would surely punish him. He then thought to himself "If the assassins couldnt do it for they were to slow and small, then something big and quick should do the trick." He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small wooden object. It was carved beautifully, but you could still not see what it was supposed to be. He chanted a couple of words that seemed like a language from another world. He held the wooden object in his hand tightly. After the fifth word, the shadows he absorbed from the soldiers went into the object. He then hurled the object into the street, where the two men would surely see it. He then chanted some more words and pointed his index finger at the object. A small greenish bolt of lightning shot out of his finger and hit the piece of wood.

The object started to slowly grow larger and larger, until it was the size of the tavern. The mammoth object started to shake like something was inside of it. The wood started to instantly fall off like it was water. After about 2 minuites, the demon finally had taken off most of the wood. It stretched out and looked at the two men who seemed to be wondering what was going on. The demon let out a large roar, with a power strong enough to knock the smaller one out of his seat. The creature was almost blacker than the night sky, with small hints of green on its belly. The demon was about 50 feet in length and 20 feet in height. It had horns that nearly reached to the middle of the beasts back. They were a slight off white, contrasting the color of the skin. Its teeth were almost the same color as the horns, just slightly more yellow. The creatures tail was covered in tiny spikes similar to its horns. The tail ended with a large arrow shaped bone. The beast let out another roar, almost as powerful as the last one

Devon looked upon the demon and smiled. He knew the two could not stand a chance. He left into the treeline, knowing he was sure for victory. He would come back when the demon had had its meal.

Yama

There was a slight breeze in the city. Yama had just woken up and taken a shower. There wasn't anything much to do, he thought as he looked at the old grey buildings. This town was quite peaceful, but he had a mission to do, even if the kid didn't know about it.

((OOC Swordsman, did you even read any posts before you? Selena has already been taken into the inn that Ulrich and Aaron are already at. She is not laying on the ground anymore.))

Ulrich walked back into the tavern after defeating the assassins and went over to the bar where the other man stood. "That was a bit easy, huh?" He said. "I guess so." Aaron replied. They both went over to the bar and grabbed a seat. Ulrich looked over to the barkeep, who had just came out of hiding from his stockroom in the back. "Dont come out yet, there is still danger about!" Ulrich yelled to the old man.

He reached behind the bar and looked at what was left of the once fully stocked bar. Most of the bottles were broke from the attack, but a couple of bottles survived. "Oh thank Napthia the rum is still good!" Ulrich said happily. He pulled the large bottle of rum off of the shelf and grabbed two large beer mugs. He pour the glasses full of rum, and handed one to Aaron. "To victory in all the battles to come our way!" Ulrich toasted. He held his glass high, where Aaron hits his glass with his own. "To victory!" They both pulled back their glasses and took a large swig. "Names Ulrich Gether. Let me ask you a question. Who is that girl? Those fighters werent after us and they didnt look like common thugs wanting money, so they must be after her. Right?"

Before Aaron had the chance to answer, Ulrich heard a sound of something hitting the ground outside the broken doors. He got up from his seat and grabbed hold of his daggers. He walked out and looked to the left, only to see nothing. He looke dto the right, with once again nothing. He was about to turn back into the bar when he saw something on the ground. He bent down to look at it, and could not figure out what it was. "Must be from one of the trees I guess." He turned around and walked when from behind him, a bright flash appeared. Ulrich quickly turned around and saw nothing still. He walked over back to his chair. He picked up his glass and took another swig or rum. "Nothing out there but the wind." He said to Aaron. But before they could talk anymore, the ground started to shake. He looked outside the door and saw the odd thing on the ground was now the size of the tavern. "What the Fu..........." He was interupted by the thing shedding its wood, or so it seemed.

What was once a small wooden trinket was now a huge, daunting, LIVING, demon. It stuck its head down at the two men and roared. The roar was so powerful, it knocked Ulrich off his seat. He got up and pulled out his daggers. He flipped them around his palms, then caught them underhanded. He got into his fight pose. The beast roared again, nearly knocking him over again.

Ulrich closed his eyes, and made a face letting everyone know he was scared. He started to lightly squeal, then let out a mighty yell. He ran towards the beast at full speed. He flipped one of his daggerrs to where the blade was sticking upwards. He ran right past the demons head, and run underneath its belly. He stuck his dagger in the beasts gut, and ran. The dagger cut a massive wound into the beast from its chest to its groin. He pulled out 3 small grenades and jammed them into the cut. Ulrich ran out from under the beast and into the street.

The grenades blew up one after the other, but it hardly seemed to do any damage. The beast let out a massive roar and smashed its tail into Ulrichs chest, making him fly into a market. He got up and held his chest. "You ass! That hurt!" He yelled to the demon. He ran once again at full speed to the demon, but instead of going under it, he ran up its tail and ran up to its neck. He grabbed both daggers and jammed them both into the beasts neck. THe beast jumped up in pain, then went back down, slamming both legs into the ground. The slam created a small earthquake. He held on the the daggers for dear life, riding the beast like some horse. He yelled out to Aaron to attack it, now was his chance.

-He would run upto the tavern...the air around his body would glow as he drew a charter magic symbol in the air using his index and middle finger on his right hand. Charter Magic...magic of good. His symbol would fly above the ground and place itself on the demon's forehead....the symbol grew to a blinding light. His arm went over his eyes to block it....then...the beast twitched. Immobilized for a few moments. He would run toward the beast pulling out his sword. He would dive into the ground. His sword perched up as he slid. The sword would slice the flesh...but the beast seemed...undamaged- "DIE ALREADY, I need to find the Goddess!!"

-He would leap back and watch the beast...it began to list. The tail swung outward, the thing trying to regain balance, a direct hit to his side. He would slide accross the ground and slam into the tavern wall. The blunt force of his "bounce" caused blood to spray outward from his mouth. Being brought to *one* knee, he'd kneel a bit...and take in some air. Spitting some blood onto the ground he would regain his composure and he'd watch the thing fell-

((*one*, is a fixed typo!))

Devon was walking back to the village where he had last left the demon to its job. In his hand he held a shsk-kabob that he has stolen off some street vendor in a neighboring town. He walked up to the point where was last at and looked at the demon and the fighters. "He is weakened already? I thought they would all be dead ny now!" He walked down to the tavern where the shorter of the four was standing, preparing to make his move. Devon saw the man about to pull out his sword. Devon walked up and placed his hand on the swords handle, making it where the man could not pull it out. He looked at Devon with a look that was painful in itself. Devon punched the man square in the face, knocking him into the tavern. "Ill let your friends handle my partner out there, but you are mine for now." Devon pulled out his scissors and held them with both hands. He held them like it was a samurai sword. "Ready?"

*Ulrich held on to the beast for dear life. He saw arrows fly right past him, magic powers being thrown at it, and most of all, the man who created the beast was picking a fight with Aaron. He could not see his face very well due to his hat, but he knew he was pure evil. He thought about jumping off and helping, but the beast needing to be killed was more important at the moment.

He thought of a way to finish the beast off, but nothing seemed to be working. His grenades hardly did any damage, the arrows just blinded it in one eye, and the magic seemed to do nothing. He thought to himself that the skin must be almost impermiable, or it would be dead by now. He came to the conclusion that you had to strike it from deep within. He then broke out of his trance and noticed he was still holding on to the beast with his daggers.

Ulrich pulled out his daggers and ran up the head. He reached the beasts mout and instantly started to rethink, but he was sure he did not want to enter from the other side. To everyones surprise, he jumped in. It seemed like his plan did not work at first for there was no movement, but right before anyone could attack it, it started to fall and scream. It seems Ulrich was still alive. Inside the demon, he was thrashing what ever he could find mainly going for his neck. He finally sliced its throat from the inside, and tearing whatever muscle he could find in the vicinity. After about 6 minuites of cutting through the muscles and vains like he was in a jungle, he finally reached the beasts heart. It was almost the size of him and almost hardly pumping at all. The beast was on it last breaths. In a act of mercy, he lifted both of his knives upward, and slammed the blades straight into the heart.

On the outside, it seemed the beast was having a heart attack. It was laying down on its side, trying to claw at its own chest. The demon lifted its head up and let out a subtle roar, letting everyone know it was in pain. It slammed its head into the ground, not breating anymore. The beast was finally dead. But it seemed Ulrich was gone with it, that is until they saw the chest moving again. All the fighters got into position to fight again, but then a large slash next to the heart appeared. Ulrich stepped out of the gash, covered in blood, mucus, and pus. It was not a very pretty site.

He fell down on the ground face first trying to catch a breath. The others ran to him and looked at him. One of them flipped him over so he could breath, but then he threw up, so they had to flip him back over. "If we face another giant demon beast like that ever again, Im going to be on the sidelines, ok? Ulrich wimpered after finally catching his breath. "I wanted to become a butcher a while back, but after seeing all that, I dont ever want to see the inside of anything ever again." He tried to get up but almost fell back down, but with the help of the others, he got upwalked over to Aaron who has been knocked out by the man in the black hat. There was a large mark strethed out on his back. He was lucky, It nearly broke his back. The other man dissapeared long ago when everyone else was helping Ulrich.

"Ok. Were going to stay here for a while. We need to let the girl upstairs rest for a bit I guess, and Let Aaron here rest up and recover from his wounds. Also there might be more things out there that want us dead at the moment. Ok there should be some more rooms up there if you are tired, and a almost fully stocked bar here. Ill be in the back looking for food. By the way, my name is Ulrich."

Smell like...-he was mumbling this, but cleared his throat- Ah...yeah. Before I introduce myself I need to ask you something. -His mind would spin, had he finally found her?- Is the goddess here? Selena... -he would kneel down and then began to speak softly- Edge Hiroyakimi. Although many simply call me "Hiro"(Hero). I suppose it fits on some occasions. And I want this to be one. Well...Edge would be fine too....to the point tho'.

The evening sky loomed over head, when all of the trained occupants of the Northern Territory Temple felt the heavens become unstable. The fierce fighting. And now the unbalance of power. Right now this planet itself is unbalanced...which is a bad thing. The beings in the heavens kept the world together. Now that the banishments have occured. Let's just say if Selena dies. We're done for. -He was a brilliant mind, but very unorganized...he'd take in a deep breath- I'd watched the battle with my six sense. And then I watched Selena be sent here. I've gotten here as fast as I could to protect her at all costs. -His sword then glowing a bright, light blue. Seeming to agree with what he said- Now I am here to do it...Where is Selena? -The "Where Is Selena" went from a soft pleasant voice, to one of determination and carlessness for his own being. Some may call this foolish, but to save this God Forsaken planet it was the only way-

Ulrich had just gotten into the best moment of the day so far. The old caretaker saw how filthy he was and made him a bath for free, for protecting them and their tavern. He had just grabbed a bottle of whisky from the shelves and took off his cloths. He stepped in to the tub and enveloped his entire body with the warm water. But only five minuites into his relaxation, he heard someone start yelling about some goddess.

He got up and walked out of the room and right into the tavern. He looked around and saw the mages sword was glowing and heard him say something like "where is the goddess?". Everyone else in the room was looking right at him."There was a girl that was in here I believe. She should still be upstairs. But if you have any intention of taking her without our consent, you will have to step through us first. Just take my advise, go and take a rest, you look tired. If that is the goddess upstairs, she will be protected by us, ok?"

But noone payed any attention to what he had just said for the fact is that he was in to much of a hurry to stop the yelling that he forgot to dress. Ulrich quickly realized that and covered himself up with his hands. His face blushed as much as it could possibly be blushed. Ulrich ran back into the bathroom and sank back into the bath, but it was cold now. He put his clothes back on and walked back out to the tavern only to be laughed at.

-He raised a brow and looked at Ulrich- Don't try that "I was just in the water" excuse with me. Ahem...-He would chuckle a bit and watch him run off. No evil intent was meant for the Goddess. He'd look to the tender. And sighed- So...how much for a hot spring type bath? Nothing? Even if I did kinda save this tavern I still need to pay, what I did was minimal...fine fine. -He'd be given a room key, and the tender would run off. Following closely he'd walk into his room and watch the man. His kitana would come off, mahogany sheathe and all and be thrown onto the floor.

The tender walked from the room, and headed down stairs...he stalked into the bathroom and quickly stripped his Kimono and under garments. He'd slide into the water, upto his neck. He'd shiver a bit. Felt just like the hot springs back at home...his mind began to wander in the relaxed state..and he started visualizing the temple. The hot springs. Him lurking watching the priestesses bathing in the hot springs.- Hopefully they aren't as...defensive once I do the whole save the world thing..

-The water started chilling after 30 minutes...he's step from the tub...and clentch his hands into fists, his eblows would come to his sides at a 90 degree angle. Gathering chi, his aura would flare upward....soon drying himself.

Walking to his room, he pulled one of his spare kimonos and undergarments from his bag. He slid it on, the his sandals. He grabbed his pouch with money. He placed his hand on the knob on the door. He'd press the lock and close the door. He paused and look down the hallway where he had sensed her presence. He then turned and headed down the stairs into the common room. Ah, he had forgotten his sword. No matter he probably wouldn't need it. Good the thing couldn't be taken unless he allowed it. If a person who has evil intent for the sword. Their soul will be abosrbed into its being. Well...the evil intent absorbtion was only applicable to other people-

Ulrich had just walked out of his batroom, fully dressed this time. He saw Edges sword laying in his room unguarded, but didnt think anything of it. He walked past the girls room into Aarons room. He just wanted to see how he was doing. Aaron was passed out and was breathing normally again. He was fine other than the loud snoring. He left the room and went down the stairs to the main room. He saw everyone sitting at the table and having a merry time.

Ulrich pulled up a seat next to the Vicente. Vicente started talking about his father and the exploits that he did. "I remember reading about all that somewhere." Ulrich said. "So I take it you are from the Lesine Islands. Right? How is it down there? Ive been thinking about moving down there sometime." The two started to talk for a while about the islands, Vicentes father, and some other stuff that had no importance.

Vicente left for a while and brought back some glasses. Ulrich pulled one out and thanked him. All of a sudden, Ulrich let out a big yawn and stretch. "Well guys, I think im going to head into bed for now. Ill see you all tommorrow morning. You all should get some sleep as well. Good night."

Ulrich went back upstairs and went to his room. It was a simple room with a small bed and a smaller wardrobe. The bed was nicely made from the old lady. He took off his belt with the bombs and his knives and placed them at the floor of his bed. He pulled back the covers and fell asleep instantly.

"No Sir!! Im sorry! I didnt mean to screw up like that! Please forgive me!" Devon begged, kneeling down before Ravin, telling him how he had messed up. "I had no idea that they were this powerful. At first I thought there were only two, the tall one with the mask, and the short one with the chain daggers. Then two more shown up, a monk and an archer. I had to get out of there quickly, so I knocked one of them out, and I came here to report."

"As You Know, I Am Not A ForGiving God! You Have Dissobeyed A Direct Order! But I Will Give You One More Chance To Prove YourSelf Worthy! But If You Fail Me, I Will Not Hasitate To Rip Your Arms Of And Force You To Watch Your GrandMother Eat Them!" Ravin said, with a voice that would scare anyone to death. Ravin pointed to four statues, each standing 10 feet in height and made of solid stone. Two are covered in medieval armor and wield large spiked maces. The other two are covered in primitive barbarian clothing, and wield large single bladed axes. "You Know What To Do With Them! Do Not Dissapoint Me Again! Now Go Away!"

Devon got up off his knee and formed eight shadowy figures. He commanded them to lift the statues and follow him.Once he got out of the dark cavern, Devon pulled out a scroll and started to read it out loud. The ground started to open up, forming a portal that lead to the heroes. The shadows went in first, carrying the statues. Then Devon followed.

Back at the Tavern, Ulrich had just woken up. He had the housekeeper make him a hot bath so he could get cleaned up for the day ahead. He made sure to put on his clothes and his belt filled with his many weapons. He waled out of his room and into the long hallway, where almost everyone was sleeping. He looked out of one of the large windows and saw the sun was just starting to rise. There were hardly any clouds floating by. There was still a tiny bit of water on the ground outside from the storm, and you could still see the demons footprints filled with water.

Ulrich walked down to the main room and saw the old man was working hard on fixing the place up. Ulrich saw he was trying to put the door back on, but he could not lift it up all the way. "Let me help you with that." "Oh thank you kind sir, but it is not nessisary, for you have already helped me out." "No I insist. Here Ill hold the door up while you put the nails back in." So Ulrich lifted the door up and placed it to where it was supposed to go. The old man took some nails out of his pocket and nailed them back into the wall, holding the doors back up.

"Excuse me but do you have anything to eat here, im starving." The old man went into the back and started to cook a meal. He came back with a large plate full of chicken and pasta with a creamy white sauce. The smell was almost to much to bare, as it was one of the best things Ulrich had ever smelled. Ulrich picked up the plate and carried it over to an empty table that the old man had cleaned up. He instantly dug into the food. He wasnt joking about starving, as he hadnt had anything to eat for 3 days. In record time the plate was completely clean. "Damn that was good! What do I owe you?" "You owe me nothing, you have done plenty of work for your meal." The old man replied.

It was early in the morning, a little TOO early for Devon. A portal opened up on the outskirts of the village. Devon seemed to float out of it easily, while his minions seemed like they had some trouble. The four large statues soon came out of the portal, still being carried by the dark soldiers.

Devon walked to the same spot he appeared at last night. He looked through the windows. He saw that only two of the men were awake. Devon turned back to his men and smirked. He looked up at his statues and pulled his sleeves up. He pushed his arm straight out at the ground. He conjured up his shadow powers to flow towards the bases of the statues. The shadows started to climb up the objects and wrapped around them. The shadows infused themselves into the statues. Soon, the statues started to shake.

The four statues lifted their legs off of their bases and stepped down. They lifted up their weapons and started to slowly walk towards the tavern, shaking the ground with each step. Around 40 shadow assassins followed, each with sword and shield in hand.

-Edge would disappear from the table....then his body would appear standing on the roof...he would leap into the air and draw his sword. He changed direction and started a free fall. His body would be coming straight for Devon. He chuckle and yell- "Here, CATCH!!" -His aura would pick up, and his body shifted...now more into a nose dive...his sword was in his right hand at his side. His body came downward on Devon very quickly. He'd take a quick swipe at him, and then stop before he hit the ground.

A grin would spread accross his face as he began making wild, and fast swings, and swipes with his sword. Although they were quick and wild they were all on target....as he was there an aura glowed from him and his sword. What the sword wanted more than anything was to abosorb the spirit of the man.

Even if the sword nicked his arm..or rested against his arm...his sould would be damaged...paralisys taking over his body...the soul would be absorbed...the spirit following afterwards. The body would've collapsed...being still alive. Although alive the body would live in a coma.-

"hahahahHAHAHAH!!! You idiot! Dont you know that when you do a soul absorbing move, it dont work on someone withOUT a soul!" Devon looked around and put his his hand on the new cut on his arm, and simply dusted it off. Edge thought Devon would be paralized but, as he could see, Devon was all well.

Devon reached for his back and drew his scissors. In the same drawing move, Devon brought the heavy blades down on Edges head, knocking him to the ground. He walked towards Edge and started to flip his scissors around his fingers. Finally he grabbed the blades with both hands and brought them up across Edges gut, like a golf swing, throwing Edge nearly 20 feet and leaving a nasty gash on his gut. As Edge lay on the ground, Devon quickly ran at him, leaving behind a trail of dust. He held his scissors one handed and sticking out to the side.

When he finally got into range, Devon stuck both his feet out and kicked him in the side, flipping him upwards. Devon quickly got up and opened his scissors, just in time for him to catch Edge inbetween the blades. As Devon held Edge by his neck, he began to laugh. "You kids are all the same. Think you can just run into battle and swing your sword all around the place. To bad you wont be able to learn from your mistakes!" Devon said as he began to slowly tighten the blades...

-But when the blades came down upon his head the blades bent, and he sighed looking at him. A grin would spread accross his face. As the blades came he would raise his sword. Sparks would fly as the blades met he would chuckle a bit and look at him.

Like wise when his kick came he would backflip a good twenty feet into the air. But now as the blades were brought to his neck...once he landed they wouldn't close- "You will learn not to use that inferior metal. See, your metal...can disentigrate" -He'd lower his stance, somewhat like a kahmehameha©™® attack in Dragon Ball Z™. His foot would come up, and the blades would make a twang sound as they flew in the air. A huge ball of chi, which came from his closed hands, would explode from his hand with a bright blue light.

The energy ball was huge, maybe comparable to 4 taverns...luckly the attack was away from the tavern. His hair and clothes blew from the wind from the attck. The Chi would break up every molecule inside of that blade..and nothing would be left.

The gods would look downward. The hug energy had been sensed by them. And then they would chuckle. Speaking amongst themselves their hands would be pointed doward. A glowing pentagram pendant on a silver chain would appear around his neck and glow. Light from the havens shot downward and engulfed his body. Another blue glowing pentagram appeared on his forehead...the light shot outward and the attack seemed to get bigger. His clothes would change too. Now the outfit was red and black. The sleeves and downward from the knees were red. The rest was black. On the back another light blue pentagram appeared the remaining god's names appeared but the top had no name...then the name Selena appeared.

Know he felt the power of all the gods and godesses with him. And now, Selena would see it too. He wore the pentagrams to prove it. On his forehead, back, and on the pendant.

The attack would dimminish the blade no longer visible. Now the pentagrams could be seen only faintly in his eyes...the other names seeming invisible..."Selena" was clear from close up. The light around his body began to diminish...suddenly the red turned to light blue...on his outfit. Only at the collar, wrist, and anklets did the red exist. His clothes now had transformed to the exact outfit of the god and godesses. And not as a cliche, Edge was now "The One". The one would could save the planet with the heavens behind him. He would grin..and look over to devon- "Man, do I look familiar now?"

Devon conjured up the shadows to create a new pair of scissors. "You must be a idiot. You actually think your pathetic Chi attacks stand a chance against me?" Devon lifted up his scissors and wielded them with both hands.

Devon hefted the heavy blades over his head and brought them down, slashing across Edges chest, making blood pour out like a river. As the blade went down, He stabbed it into the ground. Devon flipped forward, holding on to the scissors, and delivered a powerful kick to Edges head. Finally he lifted the scissors up behind him and slammed the side of it down on Edges head.

As Edge dissapeared into the tavern and tryed to get Selenas attention, he herdly noticed the tentacle like darkness coming up from underneath him. But when he did, it was to late to do anything about it. The shadows wrapped around his body started to pull him back outside. It dragged Edge all over the hallway of the tavern and finally broke through the window.

Finally the shadows brought Edge right in front of Devon, who was smiling cockily. He was sitting on his scissors that he slammed into the ground. His hand was shaped into a circle, like it was grabbing something invisible. He was slowly closing it, which was slowly crushing Edge. "First, you pick a fight with me, who of course you stand no chance against, and then you just dissapear. Isnt that a bit cowardly for a monk as yourself. Second, Im not here for the goddess, Im actually here for her guardians, which apperently include you."

Devon stood up and pulled out his scissors from the ground with his empty hand. He walked beside Edge and moved his hands across the shadows. A small hole opened up, revealing Edges katana. It was a nice sword, but it was weak. Devon pulled it out of its sheath and looked at it. "Ahh, a soul stealer. Claims to work only on those who are evil. HA! You got ripped off pal." Devon said as he started to mock all of Edges sword moves.

He started to poke throught the shadows, slightly stabbing Edge in his chest. Then he started to slash, which clipped Edges arms mostly. Finally he took the sword and slammed it on the ground. "Whoops." Devon shattered the blade into atleast 6 pieces, not including the handle. Devon picked up the handle, which still had a tiny shard still sticking out of it, and put it back in Edges sheath. He closed up the hole and decided to let Edge rest there for a couple of years. Devon patted his head and walked away, not taking his eyes of of Edge.

The sword was replaced broken. He'd jump back, his aura grew stronger. Stones, pebbles and medium sized rocks began to lift from the ground and disentigrate when they reached the top.

He raised the hilt upward into the sky- arrrrraaaaGGHHHHHHH!!! -his aura would burst outward with enough force to send those bloody statues toppling down. The pieces of the sword flew through the air and then fused to each other once again. Now a bright aura now picked up around the sword.- "You misunderestimated me. Clouds began to form above everyone. Lightning struck down around him and.

Suddenly his pupils and irises would disappear with a flash of lightning...on the next flash his pupil and irises reappeared. But now they looked like an Aquamarine crystal. His hair would grow a bit and become more wildly spiked outward. It was now platinum with blue streaks. His muscles would bulge and his feet would sink into the ground.

Lightning now seemed to surround his body. Strikes would flicker around him inside of his aura. His swords would slide back in his sheathe. The skys would roar with what seemed to be thunder...but it clearly said: "Thunder In Paradise". Yes..it was thunder in paradise.

He ran toward one of the Statues and jumped into the air and sent a round house kick to the side of the statue. He would leap to the side now being in front. He'd crouch...then leap toward the one statue his hands and knees came outwards in a volley of attacks. More and more cracks began to appear on the statue until it was amazed it was staying together.

He'd pull his foot upward and launch into the sky by pushing off its shoulder. Then he came crashing downward. His hands were balled together. He swung both fists down on the weak point of the head. Instantly ripples went down the stone of the thing, cracks appearing and then it was gone in a pile of rubbel on the ground. He'd leap back once more and raise his arm out, palm flat to the rubble- "For safe measures..."

-A ball of ki would glow in his hand, and then shoot outward engulfing the statue. When the light show faded not even dust remained of the stone..it was all gone. One down....-

Edge thought he was victorious in this battle, but he did not realize that Devon was standing twenty feet behind him at the time. Before Edge could do anything, Devon teleported in front of the rubble.

Devon lifted his leg up and slammed it down on the ground, creating a large wave of dust, rubble, and dirt. Edge did not stand a chance. He blocked some of it bot could not dodge it all. One rock managed to get past his guard and smashed him in the face, knocking him out instantly. Edge flew backwards and fell on his back, passed out.

As Edge fell to the ground, Devon lifted his arms up, summoning the earth to create a bed like object for Edge to land on. It was slightly tilted upwards. Devon moved his hands around and made the earth engulf Edge, litteraly. Large rocks came out and wrapped around Edge, like two hands wrapped around eachother. Edge for now was surrounded by rock that was as hard as diamond, plants, and various other things.

-Edge's body was enveloped in the rock. His face wasn't bloody or swollen, just a trickle of blood from from his mouth rolled down his chin. Being taken in by the "bed" it wasn't flexible, so it restricted his body movements His breathing now came as gasps for air.

Within his shut down mind, he laid in a white room. He would feel weak and the pressure upon his body. He would roll to his back assuming it might help..but nothing made it better. The white started to fade a bit..shifting to grey. His inner self spoke...and in a weak manner so did the body- The sky of white fades before me. The dark black of dead lay ahead. -A few gasps- This can't be how the end comes....

As Trenton Obolisk awoke from his slumber to find that he had mis placed his sword. as he shuffled around the room and eventualy kicked it, barefoot he sat down in a squimesh heap. As he rubbed his two he eventualy got all his armour and weaponary on. He stumbled out of the room and down the street full of shops and people running around doing there deeds. As he came up to his destination, the pub, he stopped, someone was following him....

As he jump-ed around, a feeble man about the age of 50 or 60 came up to him baring parchment. the man strode up and handed him the papers

"hurry" is all he siad....

The feeble man scuryed away, and as Trenton stood there dumbfounded by this, he unrolled the paper.

"To Trenton Obolisk, come to the meadow imediantly for your orders."

"Shit, was about to have meself a drink to."

With that he hurryed off towards the meadow, as he passed through the entrance gate to the town he noticed the guards were a little more professional as usual...he was in to much of a hurry to think of it, so he strode on to the meadow, fianlly incountering the large gras blades that made the way to Ravin

Ravin sat at his throne, looking at his pathetic followers. His hand was formed oddly, as if he was holding something. But his hand was bare. He was getting bored. He wondered to himself what the hell Devon was doing, and where his commander was. He finally looked around and spotted Trenton wandering outside, like he lost his way or something. He moved his hand slightly and made the old messenger appear outside of the cavern. "Over here!" The old man yelled.

As Trenton followed the old man and entered the cavern, he spotted Ravin. He kneeled before him on one knee. The old man walked up to Ravin and appeared to blend in with Ravin like some sort of liquid. "It Has Come To My Attention That My New Minion, Devon, Has Not Been Doing His Job As Told! I Have Summoned You Here For I Want You To Go To Him And Help Him To Destroy The Protectors Of Selena! You Will Find Them At The Tavern In Iilumias Capital City! Now Get Out Of Here And Do As Your Told!"

"yes sir"

Trenton hurried out of the room and commanded one of the guards outside to fetch him a horse, as he waited he thought, what the hell did devon do now....his thoughts were trailed by the sound of hoofs coming near. As gracful as he got on, he dashed away, through the grass blades, all the way to he tavern in Iilumias Capital City.

As he got back towards the city, he noticed the gate was closed, as he wasnt looking for an argument, he dashed towrads a unokown side entrance. as he un seated himslf an tied his steed to the caracel, he enterd the door to the city. What he saw caught him off gaurd, troops everywhere...why.

But his mind was on the mission at hand, kill the protectors of Selena. So he made his way to the tavern of Iilumias Capital City, he did not stop to watch the troops scurrying everywhere. as he got closer and closer, the activity got busier and busier. Fianlly he made it, and as he enterd he saw his targets, all sitting there, ready to die....

I dont know whaere to go from here cause i'm confused lol :D

Ulrich sat on top of the statue and watched one of his men laying on his deathbed it seemed. Ulrich wanted to help, but there was nothing he could do. He sat on top of the statue and thought and thought some more. His anger finally got the best of him and he jumped up, screaming as loud as he can.

He lifted up his knives and slammed them down on the statues top, creating a couple of large cracks going down the entire thing. Ulrich jumped up about 10 feet and came down. He slammed both feet into the middle of the cracks and made the thing break a little. He jumped again and slammed his feet down once again, finally breaking the statue into hundreds of pieces.

Ulrich landed on the ground and quickly ran towards some of the shadow assassins that he encountered previously. He ran up behind one of them and jumped onto it. He jammed both knives in the fighters neck, killing it. He ran up to another and slashed it in the neck. He spun around and quickly stabbed it in the back. Ulrich was on the verge of loosing his sanity. Anger was taking him over.

Raniel was cornered. 4 guards had him and his steed up against two walls with nowhere to turn. He had to go through the capital to leave the country of Ilumia, but the guards caught him. He knew the price he would have to pay for killing one of the king's nobles' sons. But until now, he had avoided fighting the guards... those maggots weren't worth his time. But... since they wanted death so badly...

With a single sweep, Raniel swung his spear in a straight line. It cut the taller guard's neck, the face of two of the medium guards, and left the smaller guard with a bald spot. The shortest guard, the only one still standing, obviously faltered, allowing Raniel a chance to get through.

Raniel charged towards the guard tower, passing by what he would soon find out to be Trenton...

-Edge..began to walk...soon he reached a white wall that blended in. He began a weak assualt...the wall broke in a good minute. Wind began to suck him into the dark abyss ahead...then things started appearing. He was regaining life once again. He could feel sharp pain within him. Yes...a rib had obviously broke and punctured his lung. A cough would sprout up...blood filling his mouth- Selena...the gods..i've failed...

The world darkens before my eyes...and....i'm not afraid of the death that should soon come. The...-some blood would flow from his mouth has he went into a painful coughing fit...his body trying to clear the blood-...outcome depends on the cooperation of the whole world...i'm insignifican... -his eyes would close trying to get some peace in his last moments. He let his body go relaxed. His breathing calmed....he wasn't afraid...knowing he'd be in peace finally made him as calm as anyone could be facing death- I can't complain about my life..I suppose...

(Considering Masterchiefty as inactive for now)

Raniel merely passed his future foe, and made his way to the guard tower. An arrow wizzed past his head, and another wizzed towards his head only to be impeded by his spear. He quickly hopped off his steed and massared the gate guards and opened the gate. He would finally be headed for another country... where the Godess was rumored to be, no less.

actually I have been debating on remaking it. altering it a bit. It would get me back to activity. lol what do you guys think?

Rainbow Dash
11-09-2005, 01:29 PM
Sure, you would have to start from scratch though. Pretty much everyone has gone inactive in here. I'd've loved it even more if "Utterly Lost" would work since I had some great ideas for that one, but this is good too. I was looking foward to using the character I made for this one.

did you get my PM about your rp?

I'm beginning to wonder if the PM's I send are being recieved or not. lol Last person I sent one to never replied.

Anyway yeah I think I'll kill this thread and come up with a whole new ball game. If you would like to assist Yvl I would surely appreciate the help.

As I said in the PM I sent you maybe we can get that "Utterly Lost" rp of yours going again. Perhaps bigger and better than ever.

That would be nice, I could force a few friends that are into RPing to post in it as well... Indeed, I tried to split this thread so that the inactive members were removed, but then there was the problem of people who responded to those posts...

Also, utterly lost is something I would really like to get going, I may alter it a bit if it succeeds and use it as another storyline for myself to write about.

Yeah..alter it all you want. But uh, rp on AOL is really retarded. And I was having some fun here. =D
