DBZ: Budokai 1 & 2

has anyone played these games. any thoughts, oppinions, etc...

I've played (and thoroughly) enjoyed the first one. I haven't gotten around to renting #2 yet, but I've heard good things about it.

yea....number 2 is really good!! i love that game...i think its better than the 1st

i thought 1 was uber easy on the normal standard (i only rented it) so yeah i didnt enjoy it that much bar the cell shading.

i hate 1 cuz its so easy but i love 2 its one of my favorite fighting games

I don't mind cel shading on games like that. It works well with games that are based on anime or cartoon characters anyway.

DBZ 1 was okay... In my opinion you really had to be a DBZ fan to enjoy it. It wasn't that great of a fighting game.

2 was alot better, I thought. There was alot more fun stuff to see in it (like Gokule... *giggles*)

All in all, they were okay... They're fun games to play every once in a while, but not really the game I would go to if I wanted to play a fighting game...

Hercule is my favorite character in Budokai 1. His present for you attack is hillarious.

ya i have and it was ok if you like dbz then get the game but for the fighting part...it could but improved though

I beat the first with my eyes closed. Lol, not really. Its a fun game, but a bit repetitive.

The tournaments can get a little challenging on the hardest difficulty, but that's about it as far as it being hard goes. It's nothing compared to GGXX's Survival.
