Old Platformers you'd like to see remade

I'd either like a new Kid Icarus or a remake of the old one, along with Castlevania 2, Smash TV, Zelda 2, TMNT 2, and several megaman games.

yeah, Faxanadu would be another good one to be remade. or at least ported to the GBA.

i agree vyers i'd love to see simons quest with a modern day graphic overhaul as well as dracula's curse in which you get to be alucard,trevor belmont,sylphia,and grant. also remember the gradius games? they need to make another one! those games rocked!

yeah. vertical, and side scrolling shooters is a dead genre. I'd love to see them be reborn. Gradius, Raiden, R-Type, and the Darius Twin series were all great games.

3D may be cool, but if you forget the classics, then the present ones have no meaning...

I'd like to see the older Megaman X games remade... not in 3D though. MMX7 kinda sucked...

But redo the graphics to like Guilty Gear X quality, and make Zero a playable character in the earlier games too... that'd be cool. ^_^

a few more strider games would be cool...i also remember a side scrolling fantasy hack n slash in which you gained levels and could choose from many eccentric and unique characters..it was called guardian heroes and i doubt many remember it. it came out on the ps 1 when it was still a young system.

Ooh! That'd be cool! Vile was a pretty neat character... BTW, he hasn't exactly come through on his threat to "haunt X to the end of his days", huh? He needs to make a comeback... Hmm... *thinks* I think he needs to make an appearance in the MMZ series too!
