That Japanese Gensui Kouryaku Shinsyo fansite reports that the release date for Rhapsodia has been confirmed to be September 22nd, 2005. No release dates outside Japan has been confirmed yet. Also, data transfer has been confirmed, so you'll probably be able to load data from Suikoden 4 into Rhapsodia. Furthermore, the game will apparently come with some other gizmo's such as soundtracks. Hopefully, they'll bring those to markets outside Japan as well.

Its Suikoden Rapsodia which was speculated to be the rps set in suikoden 4's tmeline.

It doesn't look too nice graphic wise but I will get it just becuase its a game based on suikoden, even if it is the crappiest suikoden ever in suikoden IV.

These are just early screenshots, I imagine the game will look sharper than that. It looks a lot like the Fire Emblem coming out for the Cub though, so who knows.

i dubbed lino, lego man in that one screenshot, and i agree that the art is alright its just in a few sections of actua gameplay it looks freakin horrid (like lino).

But yeah if i stumble upon more info i'll post it.

Also In jap this game is called rhapsodia but konami still have the suikoden tactics name reserved and some game stores still refer it to that outside of japan, so theres a chance it may be renamed for western gamers.

it's possible. for the non Japanese... they'll probably put suikoden in big bold letters on the front just to get people's attention.

In other news tho the japanese site is up and running and it looks to be for ages 12+. Gamespot are as always behind the ball on this one not even having a box image =P

Suikoden IV spin-off dated
Konami will release Rhapsodia for the PlayStation 2 September 22 in Japan.

TOKYO--Rhapsodia, Suikoden IV spin-off, is coming in just two months. According to retail sources in Japan, Konami will release the game for the PlayStation 2 on September 22. The game will be priced at 7,329 yen ($65). Rhapsodia will be the first strategy role-playing game in the Suikoden series, and it takes place in the same world as the original Suikoden IV. The player will take the role of a new character named Kiril, a dark-haired youngster who's been traveling with his father and friends in search of a "rune cannon" that threatens the world.

However as you can see with the post with the disappearing screenshot curse sites speculate 3 protagonists while gamespot states 1 Kryil(Kiril). The Jap Rhapsodia page denotes the 3 with screenshot.
