Well there it is....I would like to know what could be improved. Though anything adding to the cost is not too good. The last time I checked this was $5800 with out the parts for the water cooling.

maybe upgrading your video card to a nvidia 7800 gtx... it's kind of hard to improve on all of that. unless you plan on going crazy with it and getting a score of very redundant things.
...you're not really far off though. what could you possibly do with that much hd space.
*the answers to that question that will come from fly and baka don't count... >.>
Wait...you have 4 Lite-on drives??? I think that's a waste dude. Might as well just get 1 Plextor and you're fine. If you wanna do cd to cd then get 2. I hate Lite-on :P

lol Know us too well :D 948gigs of space. Not bad. Btw how much space do you get from the 400gig after formating??? I'm guessing a little over 300gigs. I've gotta get another hard drive. 200 and 100 gigs are full =/
horrible

upgrade speakes to 7.1, i mean you got an audigy 4 pro 8 ffs why the hell are you keeping a pos 5.1 system when you could maxmise the sound with the beefy uberness that is 7.1 support ;)
and water cooling is overrated imo.
late edit:
Horrible, the mobo comes with onboard lan (10/100/1000mbps) and he has wireless net access via the d link pci ;)
the system imo is pretty sweet, but basically what lath said, the only thing i would upgrade would be the speakers and the video card, it's really quite tough to UPgrade anything else there...and yes...water cooling is soooooooooooooooooo overrated...:rolleyes

I concur. no point in having a 7.1 card and not taking full advantage of it. even though the klipsch speakers are uber expensive. Water cooling is somewhat overrated but gets the job done. It's just a pain to setup IMO. Plus I worry a hose might crack and then you're uber F**ked

Ok, from what I've heard from many techincal guys is that after formating a RAID config you'll get half the space of the drives. So all toghter that's about 470 gigs....mostly for music and programs and stuffs....der. I kinda go crazy and download lots of crap and then I rarely delete stuffs as I'm a packrat. lol
Wait...you have 4 Lite-on drives??? I think that's a waste dude. Might as well just get 1 Plextor and you're fine. If you wanna do cd to cd then get 2. I hate Lite-on
Lite-On makes Sony drives...so I've heard...Err...I got 'em mostly to fill space. I wanted at lease two so I could copie CD/DVD's with out saving them first.

I was gonna get some of these (http://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=774) but, my budget is limited....and I probably won't see hide nor hair of this one for a couple of years....:(....

I was unaware that they even came out with an upgraded video card....
Plus I worry a hose might crack and then you're uber F**ked
I'm pretty sure that it isn't all that bad. I doubt the hoses would crack....though I might not even get it if I can't get the case I want because there is a bigger server one I could use.
I haven't worked with Raid much so not too sure what happens after the format. My WD 200gig lost 20gigs after formatting :( If you lose have the space I don't think it's worth it then. Might as well just set them as individual drives even though it might be faster in Raid but you'd get more space, in theory, if you didn't use Raid.

Of course, I'm guessing that the RAID 0 doesn't halve it....if it does it wouldn't matter much to me because of the speed increase in the drives. The RAID 1 makes data very hard to be lost. There's a RAID 5 and 0 + 1 out there but, I'm not sure on them.
There's a bunch of different Raid configurations. Raid 1 is mirroring and Raid 0 is Data Stripping. I forgot what Raid 5 was. Had to learn this stuff in my database class b/c databases can use Raid configurations as well :P

5 is weird....it like used 4 - 6 drives I think. (I can't remember it well) It was like a combo of 0 and 1. Though I'm not sure because 0 + 1 (that is a RAID configuration on it's own...) config is the same....I dunno. If I didn't go RAID I'd have nearly a terrabyte of HD space. :)
Yeah man. I think you should just go with individual drives. I rather have space than speed. I'm debating whether to get a 400 gig or just another 200. I don't wanna lose 40+ gigs to formatting though :( *shakes fist* DAMN HARD DRIVE LIMITS!!!!!!!!!

lol why not????????
HDD space = anime, illegial games, porn
Knowledge base that will come from fly and baka = 20x laths =P
So in short lath doesnt wanna feel inferior ^__________^
oh and screw the budget that was a decent surround sound unit =P blow your ear drums on the fist go.
Klipsch speakers are uber expensive to begin with. Plus they are pretty. But I know what you mean about the budget. I got an Audigy 2zx which i think is 7.1 sound card but running 5.1 Logitechs. Got these Logitechs for 40 bucks and they sound wicked awesome.
lol Lath should p|-|3@r 7|-|3 1337n355

Right...I like Klipsch they look cool...mostly. The one's I selected don't but, oh well. I would really like to get a Bose system but, they are way more expensive. I guess I'll keep onto the list untill something better comes up...which'll be a month or so...:(
I need to upgrade my computer.
