Devil May Cry 3

Capcom has revealed details on their forthcoming sequel for PlayStation 2, Devil May Cry 3. The game is due for release later this year and once again puts gamers in full control of Dante, a demon hunter armed with a large blade and plenty of firepower.

The game will take place prior to the first Devil May Cry, following the story of Dante's quest for his true origins.

Capcom has added some gameplay tweaks to add diversity to the game, as Dante will have different gameplay styles in which to use during the game. Some of these styles include trickster, gunslinger, swordsmaster, royal guard, and more. How these styles will adapt, we're not sure, but Capcom seems to be assuring that the game will be a lot harder than Devil May Cry 2 was.

There will also be a second playable character, a female, to help Dante out with battling all sorts of evil forces. More details on her are coming soon.

The game will also boast a new graphic engine with detail on lighting effects.

yeah the graphics look gorgeous tokyo. i just hope capcom has learned from its mistakes. unlike many ppl i DID enjoy dmc 2...just not nearly as much as i enjoyed the first one. as for the styles system...hmmmm..sounds like an attempt of adding rpg elements by allowing you to select what kind of demon hunter dante becomes. it could be a good thing or bad thing we'll just have to wait and see.
