Is there anyway of knowing where that fleeing SOB is going to go next based on where he fled from? Because I beat him at north Crater and I can never see which direction he flies to from there...

If there is, I dunno, because I never found any pattern. My only advice is to try and follow him, or just wait around for a while and then do a systematic search of the world =/

His favorite places to stop are at that lake by Junon,Over Nibelheim,and Over Rocket town for me. I don't know if he has any pattern at all tho.

Junon(sth lake) - Corel Reactor - Ancient Forest - Mideel - Nth Crater - Rocket Town - Midgar

Theyre his main hangouts and his last stop is ancient forest, so basically you just fly around to each location, spin 360 and move on.
