Raven surveyed the massive structure. It looked impregnable. However, his band of mercenaries was comprised of only the best, and they had yet to prove him wrong.

His group was hiding in the woods surrounding Castle Ostia. Raven brushed a branch away from his limb and unsheated his father's Longsword. The one he had been given just before his father was...

A branch snapped nearby. Raven quicked jammed the sword back into its sheath as he saw one of his mercs approaching. He hastily wiped away the tear that had formed during his reverie.

"Well?" he asked. "What are you doing here?"

Hector looked out at the sunset from a balcony. The forests became dark and gloomy, like there were monsters hiding in every shadow. Hectors brother was just named Head of Ostia. Now he had to deal with the troubles that Ostia had had for years. Spies everywhere, not knowing who to trust. Ostia was Lycias toughest House. Yet it could not hold against armies from other counties alone! Even worse, rumors had been flying that House Etruria was planning a rebellion, though Hector didnt believe it for a second, but his brother had to take every threat seriously.

A dark feeling took hold of Hectors stomach. Suddenly, he no longer thought of monsters in the woods, but men. Men from where, he did not no. He saw a shadow running through the woods. Another running from a different area caught his attention as well. Though these men were different. They carried different weapons, though Hector could not tell wat weapons they were. He called for the head of security, Johny.

"Raise the defenses. I have a bad feeling about tonight."
