only if you have remote access to the schools terminals can you even try and log yourself out. Schools are set up so they are self contained and all taffic out and in are regulated by a central server. User accounts are held on the server so unless you can get access to that same account by remote means youre boned.

and one of em is in a classroom were you have to set up your computers...and the others are in rooms that are rarely unlocked or used by anyone other than the reporters ><

it would mean that until you go back to school you couldn't use that sn though...

since it's summer they'll most likely be doing administrative work on all the pcs there anyway... so when you get back all the cookies/etc will probably be gone.

Yeah....school's delete all cookies and saved files over the summer for the new upcoming year of school. ON some new computers...to make sure that cookies aren't saved....computers don't use cookies at all....and if you close the site to this website at some of the computers....you're logged off.

o my...you guys....ergh...first of all horrible, when you go to school and want to get onto a computer do you have to log yourself in under like an ID number? because if you do, your fine. most school computers delete cookies as soon as someone logs off. and even if it saved the cookies and someone got on your account. go kill the computer person at your school for having cookies saved on a shared server.

we dont have to log on, the computers keep the cookies not the server...and the question was "IS THERE A WAY TO LOG YOURSELF OFF ANOTHER COMPUTER'S OR LOG OFF EVERYWHERE WITHOUT HAVEING TO ACCUALY GOING TO THE OTHER COMPUTER'S"

i know all that cookie stuff, i know what my school does and doesnt do...but like i said i'm loged into other computer...as in other than my home one, and other than the schools...

cid what hes saying is hes not just logged on ef but logged on the actual pc at school, and numerous pcs at that. So considering he went to certain places the postdata could still be recorded in the temp internet files and people could access stuff under his name.

And as i stated before unless you get remote access to those pcs your still logged on you yourself cant log yourself out. And also unless the owners of the pc have a policy of turning off or checking pcs at intervals you still could be logged in.
