07-17-2005, 05:47 PM
ok I know this might make me look like an over acheiver or a show off or somethin. But I have had this bio written up for quite a while. I use it a lot. lol here's Hiren

Basic Information

Name: Logan Jerrod
Alias: Hiren
Age: looks to be early twenty’s
Sex: Male
Race: Terran
Clan: Knights of Twighlight
Class: Assassin; Lord
Rank: High Lord of Terra
Blood Type: AB+
Condition: Healthy
Alignment: Good
Innate Element: Fire

Advanced Information Foreground

Appearance: Hiren has short blonde hair and sparkling silver eyes with no pupil, and finely tanned skin. His body is the look of perfect fitness, with finely toned muscles. He normally wears tight fitting shirts of either white or black along with loose fitting pants that match the color of the shirt. He always has a cloth belt tied neatly at his waist.

Weapons:

Death Angel Sword: A mythical sword said to have once been wielded by Drahnir, the Angel who had fallen from the heavens. With no way to return, he had the sword crafted in order to use it to bring unworthy souls to their demise. The true extent of the power this blade holds is unknown, for not even he, its first weilder, was able to fully master its use.

It was last believed to be to be in the possession of Areina. A Goddess of Death whom Drahnir had sworn to serve faithfully. It was she who crafted the blade, unsing certain powers that were “forsaken” for any God or Goddess to use. A great chance, to say the least. Were she to have been discovered, her life would have been extinguished.

After Drahnir died, giving his life to stop a Satanic demon sent form the deepest bowls of Hell itself from harming Areina. She passed the sword onto her daughter Sinistra, who was to give it to the one she chose worthy to be the next Angel of death. She carried the blade for most of her life, never truly finding a man worthy enough to wield it and become her Guardian, as Drahnir was long ago.

Two Thousand years ago, when Hiren journeyed to the Dragoon Island, drawn by the voice of a mysterious woman, he came face to face with Sinistra. It was she who sparked the event which lead to the separation between Hiren and Roin. But not before giving him the sword that would inevitably bind him to her as her guardian.

Twin reaper Kamas: Weapons believed to have been used by a mythical warrior from the realm of Never-ending Shadow. Hiren discovered these weapons after the darkness Realm had raptured and began spilling into the Living Realm of Terra. Hiren, along with the aid of Fuma, was able to push back the shadow, but not without being pulled into the realm himself

The opposite of that of the Realm of Eternal Light, it proved to be a place of evil and darkness. A place where the water ran black and the trees leafless. It was here that he found the island kingdom of Shelob Mardook, the home of the dark lord that had attacked terra so many years ago.

The castle was overrun with demons now. With no master to serve they ran free without any care for law or authority. Hiren managed to sneak into the castle, while only killing a few of them. Only a fool would have tried to start a fight with them all.

The room in which these Kamas were stored had been spelled by powerful magic, and had been, so far, undisturbed by the creatures that now thrived here. It was in this room that Mardook had kept his most prized possessions, the Twin reaper Kamas included.

The Kamas had resided on a pedestal in the center of the room. Surrounded by various other weapons thought only to have been existed in Legend. Hiren only took the Kamas that day, but knows the exact location of the room, and can transport himself there in an instant should he ever want another.

User Magic: The 6 schools of Magic

Magic: 6 Schools of Elemental Magic

The Six Schools of Elemental Magic

Every realm, every parallel plane of dimensions that coexist in the massive complex of the universe as we know it, contains the six elements from which all living things are born. Each element in itself plays an extremely vital role in the survival of everything living. While they cannot co-exist inside one another, they cannot exist without each other Were one of these elements to somehow be removed from the complex pattern in which all worlds co-exist, Life as we know it would fail. While the art of controlling these elements, otherwise known as “Wizardry” or “Sorcery”, is extremely complex and difficult to learn. There are those out there who devote their lives to the studying and teaching of controlling them, otherwise known as “Magic” or “Spell Casting”

The casting of spells with the use of elements could be considered an art form. Each spell is created by a different woven design or pattern of many individual threads of the same element. While, this is very complex, the intensity of the spell decides the difficult of design needed. While a simple spell or use of element contains only several hundred interlocking threads, a powerful one could consist of well over millions of intricately woven threads that interlock with one another perfectly in order for it all to work. With most spells, the pattern cast must be perfect or it will not work, and the caster will normally be injured or killed.

Since learning and studying an element can take well over a lifetime to complete, most men and women choose to learn as much as they can on all Elements, though some of the more difficult to control, such as Light or Darkness, are beyond the learning of most mortals. All Wizards must keep in mind that every time he or she casts a spell, they are taking a risk of injuring or killing. A spell powerful enough to kill someone or something, could easily kill the caster were they to make one mistake on their elemental ‘weaving’ to form the spell.

6 schools:

Air:The element with which all living creatures breathe and exist, it is of the greatest importance from all the elements. Were this element to be somehow removed from the ‘Grand Design’ of a world, that world would quickly die and the life on its surface cease to exist. Of course, it is also a powerful weapon, used to create hurricane winds and powerful tornadoes.

Water: The liquid that gives life, yet a weapon powerful enough to destroy stone. While most overlook the intensity of things water is capable of, it can and has proven to be a worthy weapon for those who know its uses. Though it is true that water is, perhaps, one of the most difficult elements to manipulate, it is also the safest one to cast, for there are no consequences for misplacing a certain strand in the patterns that form the spells

Earth:The element which forms the very ground all living things exist upon, it is the most exhausting element to use. The caster must use a great deal of power and energy to form weaves that would be considered simple when compared to that of the element of Water or Air, however great concentration is required. Few ever bother to learn this element, inevitably leading to many secrets in its use still undiscovered.

Fire: The element which gives heat and comfort, and that which destroys and burns. While it is, perhaps, one of the simplest of elements to learn of early, it soon proves to be the most complicated, and most consequential of the six. Few are brave enough, or foolish enough, to experiment with this element of ‘destruction’. Even the smallest mistake in the weaving of a pattern would lead to a painful death. Ironically enough, this is Hiren’s favorite element to use and experiment with. He has even taught several others who have wished to learn Fire’s secrets.

Light: The element of all things good and holy, this is sometimes called the “Spirit” Element. Long ago this element was used for countless great things. Today, however, the secrets of this element have been lost, and most can only use it for tricks of the mind or illusions. Those who have studied it however, have begun to find more advanced and useful means to put this element to work.

Dark: The element that exists to counter the Light, it consists of all things dark and unholy. Every living being, including those who consider themselves holy, has at least a small part of Darkness that makes up their soul. This element is just as complicated as fire in its spell weaving’s, yet even more deadly. Just by opening oneself up to this element in order to weave the spells it can become, they risk losing control and being consumed by it. It is extemely rare for anyone to use this element, for most fear the feeling of constantly wanting to draw more that it gives. To use one must have powerful willpower and great self control, those who do not possess those, are doomed to be wiped form existance.

Spells:
(these are spells unique to only this character)

White Lightning: Lightning forged from the fire element, it is white hot and can burn severely just by passing close by. The weave is extremely intricate and difficult to perform, and even if one can figure that out, Hiren has never met someone other than he powerful enough to perform it.

Obliterate: The ultimate spell of the Fire element, it is completely unblockable and almost impossible to dodge. When unleashed, it will not only striek its target, but completely consume them with skin melting fire. As of now, Hiren is the only man to ever puzzle out the extremely difficult weave in its creation, and is the only one powerful enough in the Fire element to use it.

Character’s History

History/ Background: (His history begins after the defeat of a prototype being known as Exile)

After the banishing of Exile, Hiren returned to his home world, Terra. Somewhat of a variation to Shin’s Gaea, it existed on a completely different dimensional plane It was a beautiful place of peace and harmony. A place where evil existed only in fairy tales and legends. Where the waters run clear and sparkle like crystal sapphire’s in the sun. Covered in lush grasslands and majestic forests.

It was here that Hiren belonged to a faction known as the “Blood Knights”, a group of skilled weapon masters who’s greatest goal is to keep peace and prosperity alive on Terra. These warriors or “Knights” served as the only defense for terra, needing no army for war did not exist.

Upon returning to Terra, Hiren returned to the role of High Lord of the Blood Knights, their commander and greatest warrior. Just as his father, the founder, had been before him. For ten years he returned to a life of peace, with only an occasional small crime to deal with. It was during this time, where he began once again studying the elements in order to better his abilities as an Elementalist or “Sorcerer”.

However, all things end, and even on Terra peace does not last forever. This proved true as a sentient life form, similar to that of Exile found its way to the world. A creature spawned of Darkness itself, its origin was, at the time, unknown. Its evil spread across the land like a vile plague. Blood Knights were sent to fight off this creature of nightmares, but none ever managed to do so. Finally, as it moved on Minishterra, the very kingdom of Hiren himself, he was forced to take action alone.

Though he was, the powerful man alive on Terra, that did not make him invincible, which was proved as he fought the beast of Darkness, which was later referred to as “Ethosdine” which meant “Vile Shadow” in the ancient Terran dialect. During the battle the people of Minishterra were evacuated by the Blood Knights, only just in time for the city itself was destroyed in a cataclysmic explosion.

Hiren was presumed dead that day, lost under the vast rubble that was once Minishterra. In truth, he was actual supposed to, according to Fates design. However, something happened, something that not even fate had itself had not comprehended possible. While Ethosdine was defeated, its life force cast back into the Realm of Never-ending Shadow, Hiren, in turn, was sucked into another realm. The second realm which existed counter actant to the Darkness realm. The realm of Eternal Light, a place of all things good and sacrosanct.

Until Hiren, none on present day Terra had ever known the Realm of Eternal Light or “Spirit Realm” even existed. Whereas, on the other hand, Hiren awoke from a dark sleep several months afterwards to find himself in a place that made even Terra seem dull in comparison to beauty. Though it was, in a sense, Terra. Merely on a parallel realm where no form of evil existed. Alone, with no way to get back to his realm, he journeyed the lands of this strange new realm. And made a startling discovery as he stumbled upon a kingdom, of sorts, that appeared to have been abandoned.

It was a majestic kingdom built upon a sparkling river that ran through its entire structure in such a way that he had never thought possible. Inside of this kingdom, he found treasures that one could scarcely imagine. Including a vast library of books which consisted of studies of the elements, and histories of this mysterious kingdom.

Many millennia’s ago, this realm was not only traversed freely but settled as well. All across the land were other kingdoms much like this one. They all lived together in peace and harmony, just like on Terra itself. This kingdom had been called Foigashan, which meant “Kingdom On the Water” in the Terran ancient dialect.

Though there was no sign or records kept that could have told of what happened to the people here, Hiren remained there, studying its history and learning of Spell’s of such amazing weavings and abilities that he had never even begun to fathom. He learned the secret to using the Earth element without using so much energy, along with countless secrets that the Spirit element held. Even his favorite element, Fire, which he had considered himself quite knowledgeable in, proved to be much more complex than he had ever realized.

While reading one of the many records in which told of Foigashan’s histories, he learned of a magical item which possessed great power. Though, it did not tell exactly where it was located inside the kingdom, he managed to follow the clues they left and found the hidden cavern in which they stored this item, which they called Denizamire. “Transcender’s Stone” in the Terran ancient dialect.

This stone, once the puzzles in its use were solved, had an ability which he had though impossible. For another three years he studied the stone, untangling the many designs which held it inactive. Finally, after unlocking the last restraint, he was able to use this stone to grant him eternal life. “Immortality” as some call it. Of course, he could still be killed, no one could play god. But age no longer was a problem for him, he even seemed to grow younger, to the age of 21 when he was most prosperous in his life as a warrior.

He also learned the spell pattern which he could use to make a worm hole between the Spirit Realm and the Living Realm. Even still, however, he did not return to his home for another two-hundred years. Wanting to learn as much as he could before hand.

Finally, he returned to Terra, to find it as tranquil and beautiful as ever. Minishterra had been rebuilt, and renamed Fulgaria. The capitol of Terra, it was even more majestic then it had been before. Naturally, the story of Hiren had become a legend on Terra. The man who gave his life to stop the beast of shadow from taking over Terra. The Blood Knights were prosperous, with even more and greater warriors and wizards then ever before.

Selene, a female swordsman and renown sorceress, was their leader now. Believed to be the greatest wizard of her time, she was fearless and wise for her young years. When he returned to the city which was once his home, he found that, although he was legend, they had no idea who he was. The Blood Knights saw him as just another man. A wanna be warrior as they accused him of being when he traveled to Knights headquarters.

Ironically enough, when he said he was here to retake his position of Lord of the Blood Knights, they not only refused him, but laughed and attempted to throw him out. Of course, he would not allow a couple of low level Knights to do so. However, when he decided to defend himself, he learned that they had developed some kind of alerting system that called all other Knights to the location where a fellow Knight was in trouble. Being in their headquarters, he found himself completely surrounded by a sea of Blood Knights in a matter of what seemed like seconds.

Surrounded by what used to be his allies, he fought as best he could while doing his best not to hurt them too badly. Being several hundred years their superior had its definite advantages. However, when you are attempting to be non-lethal, and your opponents lethal, one could only last a certain amount of time before other means of fighting are needed.

He began using the Elements, spinning complex patterns of spells completely unrecognizable by those around him. He subdued them all in a massive web of spirit, hoping to finally get his chance to speak up. However, Selene had saw it coming and protected herself from the web, allowing her to be free while the others were held. After a short battle of spells, he proved to be far beyond her abilities and subdued her as well.

At last, he was given the opportunity to speak. He began telling them al of how he was Hiren. How he had been sucked into the Realm of Eternal Light after defeating the Ethosdine and found a way to make himself immortal. He also told them of how he discovered countless secrets which the elements held. Ones that they could scarcely imagine.

He was welcomed back into the ranks of the Blood Knights, and even offered his previous role of High Lord, which he respectfully declined, claiming that Selene was a better leader for them then he. Of course, he would always play a valuable role with the Knights, but he did not want to return to a position that he no longer felt he deserved to hold. The High Lord Hiren had died that day when he was thrown into the Spirit Realm, now he was “Hiren, the Legend” or “Hiren, the Immortal” to the people of Terra
Several centuries passed with nothing but peace reigning over Hiren’s beautiful world. No crimes, no evils, no nothing. The Blood Knights, were as prosperous as ever, with new men and women joining daily in hopes of one day becoming heroes. Fuma, a man whom Hiren had only met briefly, journeyed to Fulgaria to visit. Hoping to perhaps better their friendship with conversation or anything of the sort. As if spurred by his arrival, an event occurred that none thought possible.

The Realm of Never-ending Shadow, otherwise known as the Darkness Realm, was ruptured, its vile taint spewing into the Living Realm with nothing to stand in its way. Beast seemingly spawned from hell itself found their way into Terra, where they began to wreak havoc on the good people of the land. Banding together the Blood Knights, Hiren, along with Fuma, journeyed out of the kingdom of Fulgaria to the rapture, which was merely appeared as a rip in the air. It was here that Hiren drew the creatures of Shadow to them, where He, Fuma, and the Blood Knights would fight and destroy them, casting them back into the shadows of their home world.

Many Knights were killed, Hiren himself wounded. The creatures had begun pouring out of the rapture at an unbelievable rate. They were vastly outnumbered and the odds were getting worse by the second. Greater, more powerful creatures began pouring out of the Realm of Shadow. Seeing no other alternative, Hiren had Fuma fall back with the men. Not wanting him to take the chance of losing his life for someone else’s planet. Using the Element of Spirit, he created a wall behind the retreating Knights, and used it to push the creatures back toward the rapture. Of course, there were a lot of them, and they fought against the wall with a fury. They creatures began to be forced into the rapture, fighting and roaring until their were only a few left.

The Khelzaal, a massive demon of great strength and power, somehow began breaking through he wall. Knowing that the creatures would all escape once again if it broke through, Hiren used himself to push the creature into the rapture, and was inevitably sucked into the realm of Darkness as well. Once again, the people of Terra presumed him dead. Fuma sealed the rapture before returning home.

Personality: Hiren is very laid back. He hardly ever shows any worry over anything. If he does, you know its bad. He has a cool, collective attitude. He looks at things from all sides and hardly ever makes a wrong decision. Many times he had actually appeared to mess up a lot, yet in the end he comes out on top.

Kind to pretty much everyone he does not enjoy killing.

yea i also have an RPing thing i made up for a D&D thing my friends and I did, so some of the stuff may familiar or something...but i'm to lazy to mod it to take out all of the like "dexterity +2" type things, so i'm just gonna leave it as is, it shouldn't have much effect on anything anyway, some of it doesn't even matter, like the listen spot checks and stuff, so just disregard it...but if you have any questions just ask... it's not as long as hiren's but its a little longer than normal...

Fahorn
Age: 95
Race: Drow
-The drow, also referred to by some as "dark elves", are a largely chaotic evil sub-race of elves. Back in the days of pre-history, the drow lived in the Lands of Light alongside their fairer kindred, where they were known to the elves as the Ssri-Tel'Quessir. The dark elves, a term more properly applied to drow ancestors before their transformation and banishment, were drawn from venerating the Seldarine to the worship of dark powers such as Ghaunadaur, Vhaeraun, and Lolth.

Occupation: Ranger
Height: 5'11"
Weapons: A Falchion sheathed on back which is not used often. And concealed under his cloak is a hand-crossbow commonly carried by the drow that shoots tiny bolts that inflict a deadly muscle slowing poison on it's victim. A dagger in his brown, leather boot and two daggers sheathed on his right side, so when reached for one is grabbed backhand, and the other forehand.

Dagger Descriptions:
The Shadow Slayer:
Forged by the Sorceress Morgolien in the shape of an Orwenoch, a creature of the Underworld. When evil touched the blade, the spirit of the Orwenoch was called forth to do great battle upon the already defeated enemy. Length of knife is 14.5inch.

The Black Legion blade:
This is the blade of the Black Legion Soldiers. Evil servants of the Lord of Shadows, and bringer of darkness. Many of these blades were forged in the mines of Lokonia, each one wrought with a clawed guard and pommel. The length is 15.5inches.

Racial Abilities:

Spell-Like Abilities
Drows can cast each of the following as a spell-like ability: Dancing Lights, Darkness, and Faerie Firepon and Levitate.
Darkvision
Drow elves have Darkvision, 120 foot range.

Spell Resistance
Drow have an SR of 11, increased by +1 per character level.

Mind over Magic
Drows gain a +2 bonus to Will saves vs. spells and spell-like abilities.

Enhanced Senses
Drows gain a +2 racial bonus on Listen, Search, and Spot checks. If you merely pass within 5 feet of a secret or concealed door, you are entitled to a Secret Door check as if you were actively searching for one.

Light Blindness
Abrupt exposure to bright light blinds a drow for 1 round. In addition, drow suffer a -1 circumstance penalty to all attack rolls, saves, and checks while operating in bright light.

Fighting Style

Draa Velve
Only a few dark elves in each city practice the draa velve style because the natural ability needed for this style is very rare. The name means "two sword," and it involves an amazing balance of control between the two hands. Followers of this style fight with a weapon in each hand and use one of the weapons to parry as well as attack, which means the parrying weapon also acts much like a shield. Some dark elves without perfect balance in both hands study the basics of this style, hoping to eventually master it through intense training or magic.

Appearence
As a drow Fahorn's skin is very dark brown almost pure jet black. His hair is short and white. His eyes are an amber, and grow redder as his anger gets more intense. His clothes are bright white and greatly contrast his skin. The garments are basically street clothes except for the flame red pendent around his neck which allows him to withstand even the greatest heats. And around his shoulders is a thick white cloak, that is as light as feather even though it is as thick as a stone.

there is more, but i think thats about as much as is needed for this...

No I can't say I remember ever being a member of those. Unless I just forgot what their abbreviations were or something. >_< I am I member of AL if you know what that is. That is where I pretty much got my character to be as he is now. Anyway drop me a PM sometime. Not sure what we’ll talk about but we can think of something I’m sure.

Personnal information

Name:Unknown
Alias: Ben
Age: Thirteen
Sex: Male
Race: Unknown
Clan: Clanless. Looking to become part of one.
Class: Ninja/ Thief ( More the ninja)
Rank: He is in no way associated to anyone except his teacher who died.
Blood Type: Unknown
Condition: Healthy
Alignment: Neutruel
Innate Element: Ninja Magic- Kuji-In

More detailed information

Appearance: Short (only five foot) with brown hear. How ever his hair is usually not seen, as Ben always ( except for some reasons) wears his ninja outfit, which also conceals some other details like A blue shuriken tattoo, found on his right shoulder which allows him access into circles people have never heard of. He achieved this tatoo by completing his masters training and a test. He is the youngest by eleven years to get this tattoo. He is also quite muscly, however it doesn't look like it unless he is really straining ( which should be never for he is very quick and clever) or tensing his muscles.

Other information: He is extremely quick. His wind abilities also helps him to dodge near almost everything that comes his way. He has been in many sticky situations, yet has never been seen by any mere person. He can jump several feet ( Eleven on an extremely good jump). He also tried to learn to fly however he could not properly master it, but learned how to hover and glide. He also learned in his days of thieing that a knife to the back can be far more effective than a sword, no matter how powerful to the front.

Weapons

Main Weapon: Twin Ninja Swords

DESCRIPTION:
This sword was specially made for Ben by one of the inner rings of the world. It was made to suit him and he has used them well and has properly mastered it.

Secondary Weapon: BO (Staff)

DESCRIPTION:
The staff was one of the most important weapons in the ninja's arsenal. It was generally around 6 feet in length, made of hard wood or bamboo and was hollow. The reason for the hollow part was another trick of the ninja trade. By flicking the bow with great speed, the ninja could launch a poison tipped dart or small knife out of the open end of the staff, often catching the opponent off guard.

Other Weapons: ASHIKO

DESCRIPTION:
The Ashiko were spiked claws that were worn on the feet. This helped the Ninja climb faster and more efficiently on their missions. As well as a great climbing aid, it could also be used in combat to deliver deadly kicks.

SHURIKEN

DESCRIPTION:
The Shuriken is the trade mark ninja weapon made famous by the movies and stories about the ninja. The Shuriken was simply a flat piece of metal with sharpened points that were thrown at the enemy.

The Shuriken was not originally designed as a killing weapon. It was mostly used to distract or deter so the ninja could escape. While in the midst of a get-away, the Shuriken could be thrown at the samurai chasing the ninja, possibly making the samurai think twice about continuing the chase.

Although the Shuriken was not intended to kill, it was easily made lethal by dipping the edges in poison. This was effective, but sometimes it backfired when the ninja would accidentally cut himself while digging around for it, thus poisoning himself.

Shuriken were also designed to hit the opponent then bounce away out of sight. This way a ninja could fool an unsuspecting guard or sentry into believing he had been cut by an invisible swordsmen. (One of many mental tricks)

TETSU-BISHI

DESCRIPTION:
Tetsu-bishi (also known as calthrops) are small metal weapons shaped so that one point is always up. They, like the shuriken, were a weapon used for distraction while fleeing. The ninja would scatter the calthrops behind them and anyone unlucky enough to step on them would not likely continue with the pursuit. They could also be thrown, and dipped in poison like the shuriken.

KUNAI

DESCRIPTION:
The Kunai was a small dagger-type tool that served primarily as a utility knife. It's secondary use was as a weapon, with a sharp point and short handle it was a great throwing weapon. It was also a great close combat weapon as it could be used in very tight situations.

Some other uses for the kunai include a climing device, a hammering tool, a make-shift spear tip just to name a few.

WEAPON: KAKUTE

DESCRIPTION:
The Kakute were rings that the kunoichi wore that were dipped in poison. The rings could be made out of metals, and tempered wood. The ninja would quietly strangle enemies with the ring stuck in their neck. It was far less messy then using a sword, and left very little evidence on how the victim died.

DARTS

DESCRIPTION:
The ninja would use the poison darts differently depending on the situation. It was not uncommon for the ninja to carry poison darts in his mouth so they could be blown into the enemy's face at close range. If they needed to kill someone quietly, a dart could easily enter the body and be withdrawn without leaving a mark. From a distance the dart could be shot with a blowgun.

Armor: The wind protects him. But I highly doubt anything can hit this fast Ninja.

Other Accesories (Tools):
TOOL: ASHIARO

DESCRIPTION:
The Ninja were master trackers able to identify all types of prints on the ground and, being the proficient trackers they were, they also realized that they, too, could be tracked, especially while wearing tabi or split toed boots. This problem was solved by the invention of many types of "footprints" carved out of wood and attached to the soles of the Ninja's tabi.

The ashiaro took many shapes such as a bear's or a dog's and they also were made to imitate human prints. These prints made the Ninja's tracks look like those of a child by making the ashiaro small and shaped like a child's foot or the Ninja could be made to look like a cripple by deforming the shape of the ashiaro. Wearing these footprints, a Ninja could walk confidently through enemy territory and not worry about being tracked. After all, the Samurai wouldn't consider a cripple or a child a threat.

TOOL: DOKA

DESCRIPTION:
A doka is a small container for used to safely carry live coal. This device is used for lighting candles, fuses. It can also be used to warm their hands on cold nights.

TOOL: GANDO

DESCRIPTION:
Though the Ninja operated mostly by night, even they needed some light now and then. The gando was a lantern that acted much as a flashlight. A candle was mounted inside a piece of metal that was shaped like a cone and a handle was attached to the closed end of the metal. With the candle shielded by the metal, light only shone in one direction instead of all directions as with a regular lantern.

TOOL: HASAMI BUNE

DESCRIPTION:
Hasami bune is a collapsible float that is used to transport the ninja's equipment across the water without getting wet.

TOOL: KAGINAWA

DESCRIPTION:
Kaginawa The kaginawa, or grappling hook, was a climbing device consisting of a pronged hook with 12 to 15 feet of rope attached. The kaginawa was used to scale walls or to swing across large gaps, however, it could also be used as a weapon. By holding the rope and swinging the hook over the head, the Ninja could strike his opponent with the sharp prongs of the hook or the rope could be used to entangle the enemy and enable the Ninja to strike with another weapon.

TOOL: KAMA IKADA

DESCRIPTION:
A water crossing device that was like much like a raft. Ninja would build these to cross large bodies of water or to sail to their destination.

TOOL: KUSURIBIN

DESCRIPTION:
The Ninja often carried a "medicine can" filled with antiseptics and ointments which he used to heal himself if he were cut or injured while on his mission. The kusuribin was also used to carry poisons and antidotes.

TOOL: METAL GRIPS

DESCRIPTION:
Since the Ninja had to be prepared to run over any and all terrain, they often carried metal strips with a spiked edge on one site. These strips were tied to the bottom of the Ninja's tabi to gain a better grip over uneven or slippery terrain. These would be the equivalent of the spiked shoes that many athletes wear today.

TOOL: MIZU GUMO

DESCRIPTION:
A Mizu Gumo is a water crossing device that was used by the ninja. It was an inflatible seat that surrounds the hips of the ninja and suspends him in water. The pouches that held the air were usually made out of rabbit skin and horse hide.

TOOL: METSUBISHI

DESCRIPTION:
Metsubishi, or "eye closer", were used to temporarily, or sometimes permanently, blind the enemy. Hollowed out egg shells, paper bags and short bamboo tubes were filled with a combination of sand, metal filings and pepper and were used to attack the eyes of an enemy. Egg shells and paper bags were used by throwing the fragile containers at the opponent's face, causing it to break on impact and scatter the contents across the face and into the eyes. Bamboo tubes were sealed with paper or wax and, when the seal was broken, the tube was flung in the direction of the opponent, sending the contents into the face, blinding him.

Usually, metsubisi were used to make an escape when surrounded or cornered or if the Ninja felt there were too many opponents to fight at once. For example, if a Ninja were faced with 5 or 6 opponents, he might use metsubishi to blind 2 or 3 of them while he dispensed of the others.

TOOL: SHUKO / ASHIKO

DESCRIPTION:
These were steel or iron bands that were tied over the hands and feet and used as climbing aids. With the use of shuko and ashiko, a Ninja could scale a wall or climb a tree in a matter of seconds. In fact, many Samurai were reported as saying the Ninja could "climb like a bear."

TOOL: SHIKORO

DESCRIPTION:
The Ninja carried a variety of small sawing tools with them in order to make small holes in walls so that a clear view could be gained into a room while hiding. Most of these saws were triangular in shape. This enabled the Ninja create a hole that was wide on his end of the wall and a small hole on the other side.

TOOL: SHINOBI BUNE

DESCRIPTION:
Sometimes, the Ninja had to cross wide rivers or even sail down them. For this, bamboo sticks and large, empty jars would be carried in a bag and, when the Ninja reached the river he had to cross or travel down, he assembled them into a criss-cross frame and then the jars, which were sealed closed, were tied to the bottom of the frame and acted as floats. The Ninja then pushed the boat into the water and used an extra bamboo stick as a paddle.

TOOL: SMOKE BOMB

DESCRIPTION:
This circler bomb of smoke was made famous by the ninja movies in the 80's. For a quick get away this bomb could be filled with gun powder to make an explosion and smoke.

TOOL: SHINOBI KAI

DESCRIPTION:
A shinobi kai is a collapsable oar that is used with ninja water crossing devices. It was made of bamboo strip with a fan at the end.

TOOL: TOJIME

DESCRIPTION:
Since most Japanese doors slid from side to side instead of opening outward or inward, the Ninja would carry a variety of "jamming" tools. The tojime were bars of steel with a hook on each end. These hooks would be used to hold the door closed by locking them closed.

TOOL: TARU IKADA

DESCRIPTION:
Floatation pots used by the ninja to cross shallow waterways and streams. The ninja would put each foot into a pot and cross the water.

Special Moves (Weapons and Elements)

Kuji-in is the spiritual and mental strength the ninja possessed in the form of hand signs. These hand signs were believed to be able to channel energy. The hand signs were taken from the practices of the early Buddhists.

Kuji-In Ninja Magic The Kuji-in was used to build confidence and strength in the ninja. It was also believed to enhance the senses of danger and foresee death for the ninja.

In Kuji-in the thumb represents the source of power (Ku), and the fingers represent the four elemental manifestations. They are Chi (earth - solids), Sui (water - liquids), Ka (fire - combustion) and Fu (wind - gases).

There are 81 hand symbols, total, but there are 9 primary ones: Rin, Hei, Toh, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, and Zen. Each symbol invokes different strengths and abilities in a trained ninja. Rin brings strength to the mind and body; Hei generates psychic power in order to mask one's presence; Toh enables the ninja to reach a balance between the solid and liquid states of the body, which leads to a greater harmony with the universe; Sha is used to heal oneself or another; Kai gives complete control over the body's functions, enabling one to slow the heart rate, endure extreme heat and cold, etc. Jin increases the mind's telepathic powers, giving a highly trained Ninja the ability to read the character of another; Retsu gives telekinetic powers, enabling a ninja to stun an opponent with a shout or touch. Zai extends the harmony gained by merging with the universe. Zen brings enlightenment and understanding. These symbols take an entire lifetime to truly master.

Chi Moves

Cave in: A pillar of earth grows from under theopponent until it is twenty feet high. Then, a hole appears in the piilar and the enemy gets stuck down the bottom and will probably die of suffication. If Ben does it to himself it is so he can use his magic to escape or to protect himself.

This was originally for another site but I figured that it would work here seeing the example.

Name: Rakair

Age: 1200 years (appears 20)

Height: 6’4”

Weight: 320

Race: half human/ half dragon

Personality: Rakair’s personality is somewhat of a mystery. Most would call him a trouble maker but he is truly chaotic in nature. The meaning of chaotic in this situation does not mean that is evil, it just means that he doesn’t care. He won’t go out of his way to break laws but he won’t go out of his way to avoid breaking them. An example would be this: Rakair would not murder a bunch of children for the hell of it but if he had to do it to continue on his journeys he would with out a second thought. Rakair is the only truly neutral being. He also has a very free sprit. He does what he wants, when he wants.

Description: Rakair is about six feet four inches tall and weights in at about three hundred pounds of solid muscle. For his size he can move amazingly fast, almost supernatural. He wears light armor consisting of boiled leather and dragon forged, dragon bone mail making his armor tougher than any manmade armor in existence. Being dragon bone and having been made by a master dragon smith, this allows him to move as freely as if he was wearing nothing at all. His armor is solid black, so black that some say if you stare at it to long it will rip your soul sending you into a never ending revere of hopelessness and despair. His hair is as black as the night and his eyes are the same way. He keeps his body wrapped up in a tight body wrapping underneath his armor so he completes the entire black look. His armor fits tightly to his body hugging his skin and shaping his every muscle like a second skin. His boots are knee high made out of the same black leather that covers most of his outer body.

Equipment: Rakair doesn’t carry much on besides his cloths that he wear and the swords given to him by his father. The only other things that can be found on him at any time are small pouches that hold Kasarr Seeds and other useful things.

History: Rakair was born into a world into a world of turmoil. His father was the greatest black dragons to ever live and his mother was the undoubtedly one of the most power blood mages of her time. His grand father was the most powerful mage of his time. One night his father polymorphed into his human form and bedded Rakair’s mother. Sure enough about nine months later Rakair was born but his mother disappeared shortly after he was born. Forced with a hard decision, Rakair’s grandfather opted to send his grandchild off the live with his father.

After Rakair was old enough to hold a sword, His father ordered the Orcs that were his slaves to train his son in every aspect of fighting. This training started when Rakair was five. The final day of his training ended when he was 25. The end results of this training were scars that made mini maps on his body and the knowledge of every fighting style known to the Orcs and the use of every melee weapon the Orcs and his father had. A week after his training ended his father called him into his elaborate cave told him to sit.

His father asked what he remembered of his mother and Rakair told him the he remembered nothing for in fact she had left days after he was born. His father told him that his mother loved him and his father very well but she had disappeared then to take care of something that only she and her sisters had known of. After his father finished telling Rakair this he told him that about his grandfather and who he was. Now Rakair’s grandfather was lawful person, good in every aspect but on the other hand, Rakair’s father Drocon was totally chaotic evil. Even with the gap in personalities between them Rakair’s grandfather and father had respect for each other as living beings.

As his father continued, Rakair found out that his grandfather was dying and he had requested Rakair’s presence. Rakair decided to go and hear his grandfather’s dying words. As parting gifts, his father gave him two Dragon Acid swords and the armor that he wears now. His father’s parting words to his dear son was that when Rakair was done with his journey he return to his father’s home and begin his training in the ways of the dragon.

After as farewell feast held by the Orcs that had trained him and his father Rakair left on his way to find his grandfather. The only thing that his father told him about where his grandfather lived was that he lived in a grand city so beautiful it was called the city of gold. His father also told him that the city’s name was Armethalhei and it laid to the west a week as the dragon flies. Upon the first village that Rakair came to he was amazed. Being raised by a dragon and Orcs he had never seen so many humans at one time. When he walk into a tavern the entire placed cleared except for the few dumber town bullies. They harassed Rakair to the point that he pulled out his swords and showed them what he had taken 20 years to learn. As he stood up from wiping his sword on the shirt of one of the bullies he noticed that people were staring at him strangely. It was not because he had just killed six people in less than thirty seconds; it was because he had a queer look about him. Even though his father had morphed to bed his mother, Rakair couldn’t change the fact that his father was a black dragon. His face had the spikes of a dragon and the serpentine eyes that were all black. As soon as the town got over the shock of what they had just witnessed, they all rushed Rakair in an attempt to kill him. Not wanting to fight any more, Rakair leaped over there heads through the roof of the tavern and fled. As he continued walking towards the city Rakair wrapped his cloak around him to conceal what he was. Upon entering the city, Rakair sought out the finest fabric dealer and bought the black wrapping that now covers the rest of his body not covered by his armor. As he walked into yet another tavern, He started talking to the patrons paying particular attention to the drunken ones. One of the patrons that he question told that the Great Mage of the town was dying. When the words settled on Rakair’s mind, he asked the man to take him to see the dying mage.

When they arrived at the mage’s house there was a heard of unicorn out all over the lawn roaming around. Taking this in with a little surprise, Rakair continued his walk to the top of the main tower of the house. When he arrived in what appeared to be the guest study there an old man sitting in a chair with a some what younger man clad much the same way Rakair was. The old man asked who he was then answered the question himself. He told Rakair that he was his grandfather and the he wasn’t realty dying but he had curse on him that made it where he could not make his own will. Only one of his daughters could do this for him. In the process of learning this Rakair finally figured out what the other being was. The other being turned out to be a Drough (dark elf) and his cousin. It seemed that all three of his grandfather’s daughters had had kids of half blood and had left on them on the same night.

After hours of talking to each other the group finally agreed that they should set out to find the three mothers and the missing child.

This adventure took many years and the majority of those years are lost in the mysterious loop of time probably never to be recovered except by the ones who experienced them.

True to his word, Rakair returned to his father to learn the ways of the dragon. For three hundred years Rakair trained under the strict super vision of his father learning the art of the black dragon’s breath weapon and how communicate telepathically with other dragons and how to control them, until one day a cleric looking to make a name for himself came and use a great spell to make the entire cave sleep in a deep sleep and during this time the cleric killed Drocon.

Rakair was away at this time so he escaped the same fate as his father but the moment his father died, the telepathic bond that the two shared, strengthened since they were father and son, and sent a wave of despair that sent Rakair to his knees crying.

The cleric disappeared after finding out that he had killed a great half-bloods father and hadn’t killed the son.

That was seven hundred years ago, now Rakair searches the world trying to find the cleric not knowing where he might pop and not knowing much of anything except that the cleric was still alive and still running from the unholy vengeance that was searching for him.

Powers

Dragon Acid: This allows Rakair to spit a stream of acid at will in varying volumes ranging from a few drops to gallons in seconds.

Acid Storm: This allows Rakair to summon a storm of acid that rains down on his opponents. A variation of this is he can release the acid out in a thick cloud filling a room ten by ten feet.

Dragon Acid sword: These are two swords crated from dragon and indestructible. The cutting edge of the sword in hollow and has black dragon acid running through that flows into any wound that it inflicts.

Summon Dragon Strom: This allows Rakair to summon up thousands of tiny dragons that swarm his opponent(s) briefly occupying them taking there attention off of Rakair.

Acid Slash: This move allows Rakair to send the acid in his blades out in a slashing pattern towards his opponents with blinding speed.

Dragon Acid Storm: This move is a combination of Summon Dragon Storm and Acid Slash. This moves kills instantaneously and is used only with GM permission.

Dragon Blood: This is not rally a power but Rakair’s dragon heritage gives him immunity to acid and any poison. Dragon Blood also gives him immortality and supernatural speed and strength that far surpass normal or unnatural beings.

Flight: Since Rakair is part dragon he has the ability to fly without the use of wings.

Polymorph: Another inheritance from his father is the ability to change his form into any animal or living creature. The down size to this is that he can only change into things his size or a little bit smaller.

Dark Vision: This ability allows Rakair to see in the dark. He retains all his normal sight as in distance but Dark Vision allows only to see in gray. This isn’t always active. Rakair has to choose to use this so in the daylight he can still see colors.

Το ξίφος των ψυχών (The Sword of souls)
Weapon Description/Background

Many years ago, well before the time of Zetsumei, when the Gods freely walked the earth, and humans were pawns in their life sized games of chess, there was a great war, greater than there had ever been. The only thing left from this war was a Gods sword, an indescrutible blade, able to smash anything which isn't as powerful as itself (Well, near as powerful). The God who owned this weapon, struck terror into the hears of the people who heard his name, killed people by the thousands with a single swish of the sword. Even though this god lost the war, his sword was the only thing to survive, everything else, lost.

Το ξίφος των ψυχών is a five foot long, doubled edgeds sword, one foot from one edge to the other edge wide ( except four the last seven inces of the blade, where it goes inwards to make a very sharp point) and has a lgith blue jewel encrusted into the hilt, which you can see on both sides of the sword. The sword itself is a pale grey, with a black hilt, which is actually leather. This makes the light blue jewel look quite out of placed it the powerful sword. When the sword comes into comabt with something else, it glows a faint red colour, growing stronger and brighter in accordance with how hard the hit from the thing which hit the sword hit ( Confusing, no?). When Ignite uses Κόλαση, Λεπίδα φαντασμάτων and Δίνη των ψυχών, this jewel glows a deep, blood like red.

Secondary Weapon(s)

Grenades (3)
Martial Arts- Ninjitsu, Judo, Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Armor

Ignite was cursed by a witch to be covered in metal to his dying day. The witch got half her wish done. Ignite had mean covered with a strong metal, over his chest and back, covering his arms and hands, and a little bit down his legs, about half way down the thigh. Even some of his balls got covered ( Brings a new meaning to balls of steel). This metal however, seemed almost part of Ignites body. It moved with him, seemed to stretch when Ignite grew, move when Ignite would bend his arm, and protects him from harm. This armor can be destroyed, but Ignite has two words. Good luck.

Abilites/Magic/Skills

Κόλαση- The sword heats up, to several hundred degrees (Celcius) and Ignite uses it to slice through anything. It also burns peoples "Invincible" armor, etc.

Δίνη των ψυχών- Many souls which Ignite and the previous owner of this sword collected emerge from the jewel implanted in the hilt of the blade, and surround Ignite. They surrounded him spinning, murmuring a chant which even Ignite can't figure out. They then enter forcibly into Igntie body, who becomes several times stronger, faster, quicker, smarter and general better at everything. The length of this power up depends on how many souls emerge from the jewel.

Λεπίδα φαντασμάτων- Ignite tosses the blade of his up as high as he can, and mutters some swords as it begins to descend. The jewel lights up and then the swords flies around attacking the enemy, with a mind of it's own. This leaves Ignite to do his own thing.

Physical Description

Ignite is a man who has just entered his thirties. His once dark brown hair had morphed into a pale white, hanging around his ears. This is a side affect of his sword, making him appear to be older than he truely is. His facial features are that of a handsome man, who looked quite weel groomed. This is another effect of the dangerous, mysterious sword he owns. The steel which is permantely covering his arms barely hides his muscular arms, which are quite long. Infact, Ignite is muscular all over, if you actually look at him close up. He is quite tall, and wears a long, greyish cloak that dangles around his ankles, allowing people to see the black boots which he wore. The cloak is on top of another shirt, covering his steely chest. His cloak also has long sleeves, which are normal around Ignites wrists, but when in the thick of battle, he may roll them up, unless he has some sort of idea.

History

Ignite was a young child when here heard of the tales of the gods, who roamed the earth, many many years ago. He was facinated by them, and even learned their lanuage, more commonly known as greek. Ignite was so deeply immersed in these gods tales. One god stood out to Ignite the mose though. He was nameless, and little was known about him except that he weilded a powerful sword and had lost the war. As Ignite grew up, he learned many martial arts, and swordsmanship, and also exercised the brain.

When Ignite reached man hood, he set out to find more about those greek gods. Along the way he trained, entered several competitions, and played some chess. He found out quite alot about the gods, and then one day, he found the gods weapon. Ignite had been travelling in a distant land, a conitinent with mostly villages, and no cities. Ignite found a lake, a large lark with several shallow pools. Ignite went swimming and tired himself out after a days worth of swimming exercise. He rested in a shallow pool, bathing in the sunset. A crab scuttled up by Ignites leg, and Ignite whacked it away. Or he would've if his hand hadn't fallen down a hole. His arm now stuck down a hole, Ignite dug with his bare hands, but it was easy. It look as if this wall was created rathr quickly, or the wall had been punding against it. However, this hole led down into some sort of undeground lake. He ventured down into it, and he found a sword, laying on an altar like thing. Underneath the sword, on the altar was the words Το ξίφος των ψυχών carved into the grey altar. Ignite, realising what it was took it, but paid a price. A huge monster awaited him when he climbed out've the underground pool. A giant squid, eight long, monstourous tenatacles grabbed him and lashed him, beating him severly. However, the sword helped Ignite, who slayed the monster almost effortlessly.

From then on, Ignite and his new sword travelled the land, training and killing forever. Until, he finally reached Zetsumei.....

Name: Dau Silogal
Race: Humperdink (cat-like humanoids)
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 134 lbs

Weapons: Two short swords that are blessed by the Humperdink War Goddess, Rinaef, shown so by the ornate hilt with a star and miniture blade. A walking metal staff that can become a glaive or a javalin due to a hidden blade near the top, the button is on the staff near the handholds. A few projectile poison darts in two bracers on her arms.

Age:526-Unknown (looks like she's almost twenty but she is much much older. Hasn't counted years since she's been banished.)

Appearance: She has a simple orange fur tuffs at the end of her long and slightly elvish-looking ears, with orange and black hair hung into a ponytail, side bangs easily falling out due to the shortness of them. She has gold felidae eyes, and fangs. All over her skin is red writing, like a tattoo except that it's all blurry to the normal eye because it is moving on her skin. She wears a choker with three topazes set in an alignment in diamond shape, and a bolero-leather jacket on top of a cropped halter attatched to the choker by black strings. She wears gloves mostly to her elbows where her jacket sleeves stop shy above along with her black leather bracers. Attached in the back of her choker are three red scrolls, all written on in black in the same writing that courses her tanned skin. Her belly shows, until a furry orange and black-swirled belt which is really her tail, and black pants appear. The same type of red scrolls run ragged around her pants, adhered by some weird and strange means. She has black leather boots for traveling on her feet.

History:
Dau used to be a priestess of the goddess of war, Rinaef, in her tribe, since she was the tribal elder's youngest granddaughter. However, she decided, during one of the more violent wars of her people, against her goddess and the Humperdink code of rules, to help a human who in turn stole a crystal that is dear to her people. So since she helped a human, which is a big nada for the Humperdink clans as they hate humans, she was exiled and stripped of her title. Her tribal elder gave her a curse that is the tattoo-spell on her skin telling of her sin against her tribe and goddess, to all those that can read her language. Since then, the ancients have haunted her mind and the only way she can get back in her tribe is if she retrieves the artifact that was stolen and kills the whole clan that took it. Her third curse was by another elder she disobeyed, though that was before she ever became a priestess. The third curse is simply that she must obey someone if they tell her to do something with her name included, such as "Dau, get those sticks." Only the tribal elder has the ability to take that curse off. Since then, she has been wandering, looking for the artifact though there are rumors that the Humperdinks in a whole are giving out a bounty for her head.

Personality: Observant, and tends towards guarding people than being friends. She loves combat like most of her race and sincerely wants to right the wrongs she did to her race, though she doesn't know about the bounty on her or any clues on the crystal for now. She loves getting knowledge and understanding things.

Type of Magick: Healing and Offensive spells that are easy and fast to do in combat. Doesn't like handling scrolls.

I used to RP a lot 1-3 years back. I've decided, ah, what the heck, I'll make a character to join in the RP-ing here.

Name: Jason Bode

Race: Half-elf

Age: 37 (looks 10, due to slow ageing)

Height: 6 foot

Weight: 240 lbs

Build: Large

Physical Strength: Somewhat weak, actually, but everyone always underestimates him because he's got a belly.

Occupation: Adventurer and Scavenger (lives in the wild and uses whatever he finds... even if it included weapons and armor off corpses.)

Weapon Proficiencies: Shorter Blades and Staves/Spears

Armor Proficiency: Lighter clothing

Accessories: Sent on his journey by Mithos Yggdrassil, as a way of guaranteing he would not fail at protecting his "mission" A necklace was given to him that allows him to absorb any and all mana, especially spells flung his way! Once in his system, he can use the following words: "Breakdown" to give himself power from the mana, "Lengthen/ Sharpen" to temporarily imbue his weapon with powerful magic, or the name of a spell if he wishes to cast it right back.

Due to this, his specialty is mage slayer.

Personality: Has a sense of humor, which is very important to him, as he drowns his sorrows in jokes and smiles and happy times. At times he is very sociable while at other times he's quite the loner who doesn't say much. No one's sure if he just likes the attention when he's bored or what.

List of Spells:

Aqua Edge (level 1 Magic attack) 3 discs oc highly pressured water hover about a foot off the ground and slash the enemy's legs, doing water elemental damage.

Spread (level 2 magic attack. Casting time of a level 1) Swirling water beneath the target's feet suddenly erupts like a geyser, ripping flesh with high pressure, and hurting even more on the way down!

Tidal Wave (level 3 magicl attack, quite draining) A torrent of water engulfs the immediate area, only affecting targets the caster deems hostile.

Icicle (level 1 magic attack) A sharp, Jagged icicle appears beneath and puntures the target.

Freeze Lancer (level 2 magic attack) A volley of icicles home in on a target.

Absolute (level 3 magic attack, earth/ice focused) Encsed in ice, the target suffers massive wounds as it shatters.

Photon (level 2 magic attack) a sphere of light stund and does great damage to the target.

Holy Lance (level 3 magic attack) A series of lances of light pierce the target, before one big one comes straight down.

Dark Sphere (level 2 magic attack) A dark photon

Bloody lance (level 3 magic attack) a dark Holy Lance

Figured I'd put one of my favorite characters in for the hell of it, I'd like to try to get back into RPing.

Name : Orochi Kusanagi
Race : 3/4 Yokai, 1/4 Human
Age : Unknown, appears around 21
Height : 6'
Gender : Male
Element : Ki

Appearance : Blonde hair of varying lengths depending on story continuity (Throughout my stories he tends to grow it out long-ish, then cut it really short again). He typically wears loose-fitting black jeans, and a hawaiian shirt. He wears the Kusanagi clan band around his head, and his eyes are blue. When he unlocks his Yokai nature, however, his hair turns jet black and his eyes turn crimson.

Personality : Orochi is usually incredibly laid back. He's a goof-off at times, and is very slow to anger. He also can be a very confusing person, as his ideals tend to directly contradict themselves often. For example, he tends to feel very detatched from everything that goes on around him, not caring too much about the context, yet he'll obsess over one thing or another. He's indifferent to killing, that is to say that he takes no joy in taking lives, yet doesn't really seem to care much if he does wind up killing his opponents. He's usually friendly to just about everyone, even his opponents, but he won't go out of his way to help anyone if he doesn't feel like it. As is typical of a Kusanagi, he can usually gauge his opponent's skill accurately and easily, and, also typically, tends to fight even knowing he'll lose.

Story : Orochi joined the Kusanagi clan, an organization of mercenaries (more or less) when he was 16. He feigned his own death to detach himself from his family, something that never sat too well with him. Nevertheless, he thoroughly enjoyed his work with the clan, and quickly rose to a high rank because of his excellent fighting skills as well as his calm demenor during missions, which he mostly goofed off during while still efficiantly completing.

When his rival, Tetsuke, who actively disliked him, let on that the clan was considering going after Orochi's sister to attempt to recruit her, however, Orochi vanished from the clan, angered that they would try to involve his family. In reality, the clan had no such plans, and so Orochi's disappearance was baffling to most of the members. Having left the clan, Orochi had two set goals : One, to find his sister and take her away to safety, and two, to gather as much information he could on the enigmatic organization he had worked for.

Meanwhile, the clan repeatedly sent out searches to attempt to locate Orochi's whereabouts. Rumors that he was dead were quickly shot down by operatives that had encountered him but were unable to retrieve him. The clan eventually located Orochi's sister, who had gone in search of the cause of her brother's death. Thinking that they could use her to locate Orochi, the clan attempted to abduct her, but she proved as elusive as her brother.

Eventually, Orochi became satisfied with the information he had gathered, and became one of the few to actually know the purpose of the clan as well as who it's leader was. Having followed this obsession out, he gives up his grudge with the clan, and returns to them, where he's told about his sister's whearabouts. He finds her, half-insane from her search. She thinks that he's a ghost, and attacks him in a rage. Orochi, surprised, fends her off as best as he can, but is overwhelmed by the amount of power that she's able to use and is killed. His sister regains her sanity at realizing what she's done, and vanishes, traumatized.

Unbeknownsed to her, however, Orochi is revived by the clan, and takes a proper leave to go find her again. Along the way, he learns of a Yokai not associated with the clan who has exceeded mortal limits. He temporarily becomes obsessed with finding this person and learning how to achieve this state. He does locate him eventually, but gives up achieving this god-like state when he learns that it would cost him all human emotion. Afterwards, he works to surpass that level without having to reach such an enlightenment-like state, as well as continue to look for his sister.

For RP purposes, Orochi will probably be anywhere between the early work with the clan, to his returning from his AWOL points of the story.

Move List : "Going My Way" Blast - A two step attack. The first half involves a rushing forward punch at the center of the opponent's body. Once that has connected, the user unclenches their fist and fires a concentrated blast of energy at extremely close range. Can cause an incredible amount of damage because of the force emitted at such close range.

"Going My Way" Feint - Orochi's variation on his own move. Identical to the original, except that the strike to initiate the move is pulled, with the intention of catching the opponent off guard. Once their guard is lowered, the second stage of firing the blast is carried out. Lacks the added strength of the initial punch, but is still extremely damaging, and has a much higher success rate. Needless to say, it becomes more or less useless after the first time of using it against an opponent.

Double Way Blast – Orochi’s other variation on the move, using both hands to both strike and firing two separate blasts. Orochi has only used this once, with multiple targets in mind.

"Full Metal Jackhammer Kick" - Orochi's variation of the "Insei Kyaku", which is a flying forward kick. Other than simply being renamed, the only difference between the two is that there is an added downward hammer kick after the initial strike.

"Mighty Wind" Blast - Orochi's variation on the "Oni-ken", which is the traditional Kusanagi (and Yokai in general) projectile move. A large blast of energy is formed and thrown from the hand. Other than the name, there is no difference between the two attacks.

"Uncivil Action" - For some reason, Orochi renames the rename of his own attack. Variation on the "Shin Oni-ken". A larger, more concentated ball of energy formed with both hands. Once again, other than the name, there is no difference between the two attacks.

"Gale of a Lesser God" - Orochi's "variation" of the "Kamikaze", although the name of the attack is barely changed for once. The user gathers an incredible amount of energy in both of their hands, their arms crossed and raised slightly. They then throw the energy at the ground, causing an explosion sending an enormous amount of force upward. Orochi has not perfected this move, and on most cases winds up absorbing a large part of the attack himself, so he tends to save it as an emergency finishing move.

Kamikaze – The true and intended form of the attack. While the user takes some damage from the backlash of energy, it's fractional compared to the massive damage that is taken by the target. Very few people have ever mastered the move completely, because of the low probability of keeping from killing oneself during attempts to learn it.

Assimilation - When faced with death, Yokai can infuse their souls to an inanimate object, which, when wielded by someone of their choosing, will merge with their soul to gain their abilities and a mix of thier personalities (For those in the Kusanagi clan, this object is nearly always the Kusanagi band that the members wear). Physically, the person will not change much, save for some minor appearances such as hair or eye color, which will change to match that of the Yokai. Usually in this case, this fused warrior can use a hybrid of new abilities as well as their original ones. This is a very temporary ability, and the Yokai's soul will pass from the object within several hours.

Kusanagi Data Ressurection - Constant data is kept on clan operatives, and in the case of one dying, they can usually be brought back to life in a perfect clone. Extremely specific and accurate data must be kept up on them to ensure that the soul of the operative will be compatible with the new body, and thus, most clan members are under constant survaillence by Loki, the clan's data specialist. While Orochi is in the clan, he can be brought back to life seeing as his data will be complete. After abandoning the clan, however, this is no longer available to him.

Other Info : - Orochi is not his real name, but an assumed name he took upon joining the clan. His real name is Maikaru, but he never uses it and dislikes being referred to by it.

- Orochi is the "key" to the Yokai goddess. He is one of two operatives who can fully unleash their dormant Yokai abilities. The other is Tetsuke, the "knight".

- Orochi's sister is the current incarnation of the Yokai goddess, which is the source of all of her dormant power. Under normal conditions, however, this power is impossible for her to wield. Only in the presence of the "Key" can her power be unleashed, and then only under conditions which are currently unknown. Alternatively, and to a lesser extent, they can also be released if nothing is blocking her subconsious. (This has little to do directly with Orochi, but I'm including it for the sake of completion)

- Most of Orochi's moves are named after titles of movies.

Meh, Tessa talked me into it.

Sabre Kinolas

Race: Koaso/Kioan (in english: Vampire/Feline Humanoid)
Age: 200+
Weight: 145 lbs
Height: 6' 0"
Hair color: Silver Gray
Eye color: Blood red
Weapon of choice: Claws.
Special abilities: Has wings (limited flight), can feed off enemies to heal herself, immune to sunlight (her fur protects her), superhuman streingth.

Notes: Can be killed in the most common manner for vampires (i.e. steak through her heart), can also lose her immunity to sunlight if her fur is somehow destroyed (i.e. burned off or such).

Backstory:
Sabre was once a member of a tribe of primitive cat people who was sacrificed to a vampiric monster called the Koaso. However, instead of eating her he took pity on her upon finding out that her lover was to be sacrificed to the moon god and turned her into a vampire so that she could save her.

After which Malieko, the tribe's witch doctor became possessed by the moon god and slaughtered the tribe, including Sabre's lover. Sabre killed Malieko and fled the land to find a new life for herself.

200 years later she wound up in modern day America and eventually wound up living with a strange group of creatures including A young boy and his two ghost siblings, a drug addicted talking rabbit with a unicorn's horn, an infant tentacle monster, and a monster hunter.

Its a fucked up life... >.>

Abilities:

Bloodlust: Once per month Sabre can send herself into a vampiric frenzy that makes her all but unstoppable. Her speed and strength will quadruple and she becomes impervious to pain. However, if she stays this way for more than ten minutes then she will die from adrenaline shock, and she can't use it again for a full 30 days.

Shadow Claws: Sabre coats her claws in dark energy and slashes the enemy twice with them. These injuries are cursed and cannot be healed unless by magic (i.e. they won't heal over time unless a healing spell is applied).

Vampirism: Sabre can latch onto an enemy and drain their blood. For each half pint she drains she regains streingth. If she drains more than six pints then her target dies from blood loss.

Atheist: Sabre is immune to religious symbols such as the crucifix.

Illusion: Sabre can coat herself in an illusion that makes her appear human. While this illusion is on she appears to be a twenty year old woman with short black hair. If someone knows her personally then they will see her as she really is whether the illusion is on or not.

- Sabre tends to be serious about most subjects.

- Sabre is a lesbian, though she doesn't talk about it much.

Name: Drake Demantos (DarkHold)

Age: 20 centuries old. (His heads looks like 30 yr.)

Race: Advanced Alien (Features look human though)

Height: 1’ 3”

Weight: 20 lbs

Equipment: DarkHold carries no equipment save the double bladed battle ax and sword that he recovered from his fathe's dead body. The ax is of simple design but very effective. It has two blades, one on either side of the haft, that are solid black with runes of power that DarkHold carved into the ax himself. The edge of the ax is made of a material like diamond but unlike diamond, this material is blue and unfathomably stronger than diamond. The haft is made of the same material as the main of the blade but is smaller so a hand can fit around it. The haft is also wrapped in blue leather like substance but it doesn’t have the shine of leather. The sword is made of the same material as the ax but in sword from. The hand guard of the sword made form the same metal as the ax blade but it extends out from the original position of a normal hand guard out about a third of the way along the blade. The blade is fashioned with the same type of edge as the ax and the sword is also double sided but etched in the blade is a blue fire that extends along the blade and flares up when DarkHold uses it. The pommel of the sword has four thorns of metal that makes it seem as though the sword has a spider on the pommel. At the base of the blade, where the blade meets the handle, is the place for a diamond shaped jewel that DarkHold made from the remaining chaos left in the palace of his father after he had found him dead.

Appearance: DarkHold wears a dark blue cape that, when he’s not fighting, engulfs his whole body to hide the unnatural body underneath. His head in normal and looks like any human with black hair but his face carries a grimness to it that only one who has seen to many horrible things and had done most of them would carry as the norm. His hair falls in a tangled mess to his shoulders and it looks like he hasn’t threatened it with a comb since he was born. He wears an eye patch to conceal his Mystic's Eye. His body, underneath the cape, is normally proportioned for a well muscled man but his body is not really a body. The deal he could make with the Dark Master was the he had to give up his body to pay for the gift of knowing how to control chaos and how to utilize its most potent abilities. His body looks like the night sky, a clear night sky that he can make solid or make it a hole in reality that can take an attack and reflect it back to its sender.

Personality: DarkHold’s personality is somewhat complex. It has a strong since of family honor and tradition but is a very vindictive person. If you mess with him or try to pull something on him he might not get you back right away but he will be coming for you sometime and when he comes he’ll be coming for blood. Besides this fault, he is a pretty good person if you get to know him. One saving quality about him is that if he fights people and beats them he won’t kill them. He usually wins them over to his side and makes them good allies.

History: DarkHold was not always his name his real name is Drake Demantos. His original name also came with a somewhat important title. He was prince of Entaria, his home planet. The problem that existed was that Drake was easy and laid back. He didn’t like to anything that even looked like hard work. His father became so infuriated at him that on more than one occasion his father threatened to kill him and get another son. This behavior from his only son was revolting to since he was a hardened man of war and noting was ever given to him, he had to take everything by force even his Palace and his kingdom. After they had had a violent fight, Drake had finally decided to leave because that night was the first time his father had actually tried to kill him. On in way out of the castle, Drake heard the sound of cursing and gunfire. As he went to see what was happening, he saw his father fighting the Laek-Hare, a race of aliens that was jealous of King Deik’s power. The aliens had finally managed to break into the main castle and get to Drake’s father. Just as Drake came into view, his father took a laser shot to the head and slumped down immediately. All in the time it took Drake’s brain to realize what had just happened, Drake’s natural instinct kicked in and Drake yelled at the top of his lungs in agony of his father’s death. This yell alerted the attackers to his presence and they fired on him. In a blinding rage, Drake leaped of the low-hanging balcony and tried to attack the Laek-Hare. Being the laid back, soft son that he was he had no idea of what he was doing and he was shot in the shoulder just above the heart shortly after he started his raging attack. The pain from the shot sent a tingling sensation that brought Drake back to the real world and then he passed out.

Left for dead, Drake found him self in a pile of dead bodies when he awoke. Wanting revenge for the death of this father, Drake went to one of his father’s greatest enemies for help on this mission death and retribution. When he found the cave that the Dark Master resided in, he announced him self and started on his way into the cave. When he reached the seat in the center of what seemed to be a large antechamber, he noticed that there were demon like creatures crawling everywhere and wondered why he had not seen them before. A disturbing voice called out from the dark seat in the center asking Drake why he had bothered his solace. Drake told him what had happened and why he had come. Drake had come for the power to smite his father’s enemies and exact his revenge. The Dark Master was reluctant to give power to his greatest enemy’s son but the power was wanted for nothing but death and revenge and to the Dark Master, there was no better reason for wanting power. The Dark Master agreed to give Drake the power to control chaos in all its forms and the knowledge of all magic’s that existed. The power also came with a price as all things do, but this price was noting Drake had ever expected. The Dark Master used an axe to separate Drake’s head form his normal body and put it on a body taken and formed from the clear night sky. Having this new power and this new body, the old Drake was never again to exist now there was only the embodiment of retribution, pain, and vengeance; DarkHold. After he had exacted his revenge on the Laek-Hare he left behind his former planet and everything he knew because there was nothing left for him. After he left his planet, DarkHold went in search of a reason to live. On his journey, DarkHold came upon a world far away from his and saw that the people believed that they were connected to another life-force called Gaia. When he arrived on this planet the people saw Darkhold for what he was and tried to send him away from their planet. Thinking that he had done nothing Darkhold was angered by the treatment he received from the inhabitants of the planet and set out to destroy the entire planet. In three days of his reckoning (the planets sun seemed to move slower that his home planet) the entire all the inhabitants of the city were killed and slaughtered horribly. As he was heading away from the city the heard a voice roar and turned to see a shinning figure before him glaring at him as if to tear his soul from his body. The figure said that it was called Gaia and was the god of the people and that Darkhold was to pay for what he had done. Taking the figure for some hologram as a defense of the people, he turned his back to the figure and stalked away. Before he got three feet he felt a tugging in his body that he couldn’t place because he hadn’t felt it before. When the pressure and pain stopped, it was replaced with an empty felling. “Now vile creation of the earth you will live as a sliver, a being with no soul with no goal save the need to destroy. This is you penance for the crime you have committed.” As the being finished it’s words, Darkhold felt a powerful blast and was hurled into space. Now Darkhold’s thoughts are bent on one thing, destroying everything that live and anything that blocks his past. Now all he live for is death and destruction.

Supernatural Abilities
1) Magic use. DarkHold has the ability to control any magic that he comes in contact with and the original magic from his home planet. It isn’t set out in spells it’s just a thought magic. Whatever he thinks about he can create. The limits of his magic are the limits of his imagination, which is pretty active.

2) His second power is not really an offensive weapon but it can help him fight. This second ability doesn’t have a name because it’s more of a state of mind that a power but this ability allows him to recreate any magic attack that is used against him. This is also amplified to the point where he can instantly learn how to use any magic that he comes in contact with.

3)His third ability comes from his unique body. Since his body is made of the universe, he can absorb attacks and redirect them back to the attacker. The only condition for this ability is that the attack that is absorbed has to be and energy based attack, otherwise, it won’t go through him, he’ll take the full brunt of the attack. The only downside to this is that DarkHold still takes some of the damage of the attack and it drains his power.

4)His fourth power comes from his magic using ability. Using his magic, he empowered the weapons left to him from his dead father with unique ability. Having empowered them, they can combine together to create one weapon filled with elemental power of his choice. When he does this, it takes all his power to maintain and drains him heavily but makes him faster while he holds the weapon.

5) His final ability is the Mystics Eye. This attack, for a brief moment, freezes DarkHold’s opponent so he can analyze them and figure out how the fight and what kind of power they posses. When DarkHold uses this attack, he sits in a meditating position and is immoveable. DarkHold stays in this position until he is through using this ability.

Magic

Drake uses the most powerful magic in existence, he uses the cosmic magic that flows throughout the universe. This gives him powers and abilities beyond belief and skills that far better any mortal mage.

Due to the fact that he controls the cosmic forces, he is also capable in controlling the lesser, sub-magic. The High power and Low power. This being so, he knows and controls the nine schools of magic:

Abjuration - Deals with protective magick and shields

Alteration - Alters physical reality

Conjuration - Summons something from another location to the caster

Divination - Deals with seeing things that are normally hidden to you

Enchantment - Alters mental reality

Evocation - Energy that is summoned from one-self

Illusion/Phantasm - Causes being(s) to perceive something that is not there

Invocation - Energy that is summoned from a greater source

Necromancy - Deals with channeling life energy from one place to another

Been working on this character for a while, she's inspired by the commission drawing I got at SugoiCon. She's also the first original character I've created in a long time, since most of the characters I've used for stuff have been ones I came up with a long time ago.

Anyways.

Name : Tea
Race : Human
Age : 20
Height : 5'7"
Gender : Female

Appearance : Tea is of average size and build for a girl her age, with long blonde hair normally tied back into a ponytail. She has emerald-green eyes, and tends to dress simply, her preferred outfits being a simple black dress, with long sleeves, or a long sleeved black top and a long red skirt. She is almost always wearing her hat, a black pointed "witch" hat, with a red band across the bottom into which an Ace of Spades is tucked. She usually wears sandals, or other types of light footwear, and occasionally goes barefoot if it isn't uncomfortable.

Personality : Tea is typically very friendly and kind, not typically being overly serious in situations that don't call for it. However, when situations turn bad, she immediately focuses on whatever she needs to do. She's quick to help others, but can also turn nasty when someone upsets her, and can be unusually cruel in such situations. She is mildly bipolar, being prone occasionally to mood swings, though this attribute does not commonly arise unless she's been put through stress. Having spent most of her time under the watch of her master, she does not have any real friends, though she gets along well with most people that she meets. Having lacked a proper childhood, while she did develop maturity at a young age, she also has maintained a rather childish nature at times that she refuses to give up, desperately wishing to reclaim her childhood before it slips away from her for good.

Story : Orphened at a very young age, and with no remaining family to go to, Tea spent several months living on the streets, begging for food and wandering from town to town looking for shelter. Nearly dying from the experience, she was eventually found collapsed on the street by an old man who was widely regarded in the community as an eccentric old nut. He took her home, cleaned her and fed her, and at first planned on having her be on her way once the night was over.

However, throughout the night, he seemed to have noticed some sort of great potential within her, as the next morning he revealed to her that he was a skilled wizard, and offered to adopt her and teach her the art of magic. She eagerly accepted, both thrilled to have a place to belong to and being in complete awe over the concept of being able to use magic.

Her initial training went well enough, but eventually her lessons hit a snag, and her master was unable to draw out the potential he had seen within her. A year went by, and she grew more and more frustrated, unable to grasp the more complex concepts of magic. Her master remained firmly patient, and insisted they continue to try to teach her.

One day, her master decided to attempt a different method. By having her focus on an old deck of cards he owned rather than on trying to cast the spell itself, she found that it almost became instictive for her. Her lessons finally progessed, and with the aid of the cards to focus on, particularly the placement of different orders of cards, she was able to grasp more and more of the teachings, and the potential her master had seen in her was finally being drawn forth.

While she finally could cast spells, her master noticed that they were very abstract and unrefined. He suggested using the cards again, though this time creating a pact between them and the girl. He explained that the more restricted the conditions were, the more powerful and complex the magic she could use while her mind was able to catch up to the extraordinary amount of progress her skill had made. He laid out different hands, setting a bond between each with certain spells, explaining what each were and how she could make use of them.

For the next several years, she spent her time concentrating on strengthening the bond between her and her cards, and eventually could call them together and shuffle them without touching the deck. Her skill with the spells she had learned increased, and eventually she could effectively cast any of them, provided the right hand came up.

For the final lesson she'd recieve from her master, he took the deck away from her, attempting to sever the bond. To his dismay, she had become dependant on the cards, and was hardly able to cast even the simplist of spells without them. Rather than give her the old deck back, he had her buy a brand new one, and required her to create a new bond with this deck, entirely on her own. This took her an incredibly long time, and spent several more years trying to form a bond with this deck, while simultaniously breaking the one with the previous one.

By the time she turned 18, she had finally succeeded in completing the bond, and had reached the same level of skill with it that she had developed for the previous deck. Her master approved of this development, and told her that he had no more to teach her. With time and experience, he assured her, she would gain the skill needed to cast the spells on her own, completely independant of the cards. Since then she has worked towards that goal, achieving partial success in being able to use any spell with the Ace of Spades, which happened to be the only card from her masters old deck that she still held in her possesion. Tucking it into her hat, it became both her good luck charm and her desperation card.

Since leaving her master, Tea has gone back to wandering, though she is far from the orphened street urchin from her youth. Her experiences have made her sympathetic to those in need, and she often finds herself aiding any who are in need, which has lead her into almost a mercenary-like occupation. Most of her time, however, has been spent treasure hunting, usually attempting to seek out objects or tomes which contain some sort of mystical significance or knowledge, in attempts to further her skill.

Move List : Tea uses a deck of cards to determine what spells she can use. Different hands (based on poker hands) determine which spell is available and how powerful it is.

To use a spell, Tea draws five cards. She is then able to discard as many of those cards as she wants and draw more, and can repeat this up to five times to get a hand (unless she draws a Joker - see below). Aces are considered wild cards, and can represent any card (except for the Ace of Spades - also see below).

She can also sacrifice a higher ranked hand to use the stronger versions of her lower ranked spells, in most cases. For example, if she draws a straight, she can sacrifice it to use spells that are available for a pair as if she had two Kings.

Here are the following spells and the hands that they belong to.

High Card -

"High Arrow" : Tea's most basic spell, it's the only usable attack she can get out of a "dud" hand. A non-elemental energy based spell, with attack (or defense, as it can be used defensively to intercept opponent's moves as well) strength varying depending on what the high card is. A five, for example, would hardly faze an opponent, and most attacks would probably overwhelm it. A King on the other hand would do some damage and would have a decent chance of blocking an attack.

Pair -

"Twin Shield" : Tea's most basic defensive spell, it's also one of her more useful ones. Creates a barrier that surrounds her, protecting her from any incoming attacks. The durability of the shield is based off of the value of the pair. A pair of twos will create a barrier that will shatter upon contact of most weaker attacks, and will only serve to protect her from that immediate attack. A pair of Kings, however, will create a barrier that can stand against almost any attack, and may even be able to take most attacks more than once before breaking. She can increase the range that the shield covers, but at the cost of durability. For example, a pair of kings could create a shield that can cover an entire area within 300 yards, but the shield would be reduced to the strength of a shield that a pair of twos would grand.
"Exceed" Effect : The shield is completely indestructible. Nothing can get through it, but this comes at the cost of nothing being able to get out of it, meaning Tea cannot attack again without lowering the shield.

"Twin Missle" : A stronger version of the High Arrow, this attack fires a barrage of the same projectile that High Arrow creates. The strength is again determined by the cards, but Tea can attach an elemental attribute of her choice to the spell (or can just keep it non-elemental if she so chooses).
"Exceed" Effect : The spell counts as consisting of all possible elements, bypassing any resistances an opponent may have.

Two Pair -

"Doppelganger" : Tea can create an exact duplicate of anything in the area. While this duplicate can be herself, it's not limited to that. She can copy any item in the area as well (including weapons), or even create a copy of her opponent. This copy then assists her in any way she needs it to, usually by acting as a double to throw off her opponent. With weaker cards, the duplicate is more of a cheap copy, with greatly reduced usefullness or strength. With higher cards, the copy is progressively more exact to the original, retaining the same abilities as what it was copied from. In a two pair hand, the first pair determines the copy's strength, while the second pair determines it's durability. With a high and a low pair, the copy is strong but unstable, and can easily be destroyed. With both pairs high, her opponent will find themselves facing an exact copy of Tea, or have their otherwise rare and valuble weapon duplicated in her hands, or even find themselves facing an exact copy of themselves, moves intact! This is the only spell that cannot be used in it's full strength with hands other than two high pairs.

Three of a Kind -

"Hurricane Shield" : This move is a one-time, reactionary counter. When it's used, a powerful blast of wind surrounds Tea, and any move that an opponent is attempting is thwarted. In addition, any projectiles are reflected back at the opponent, and if the attack is physical, her foe is caught in the wind blast, usually thrown to the side and taking damage from the blow. No matter what the cards, any attack will be blocked, but higher cards will determine how strong the counter attack is. Lower cards will almost completely absorb a projectile before bouncing it back, or will only toss the opponent aside without damaging them greatly, while higher ones with reflect a projectile at full force, and will violently throw an opponent away after tearing at them.

"Hurricane Shot" : Tea can fire a strong gust of wind, fast and compressed enough to actually cause damage to an opponent. With lower cards, the attack is strong enough to knock even the heaviest of opponents to their feet, but with the highest ones, the gust is so blindingly fast and supercompressed that it can cut through solid objects. Three kings would make the attack strong enough to cut through steel.

Straight -

"Razor Edge" : Tea can greatly increase the physical power of any weapon, or can cast the spell on a person to cause their own body to become durable and able to use as a weapon. She can cast this spell on herself, but rarely does, being nearly inept at physical combat. However, she gets great use out of using it on her cards themselves, which she can then use as thrown projectile weapons.

"Rubber Edge" : This spell has the opposite effect of Razor Edge, causing weapons to lose power by dulling their edges and softening the weapon. Used against a person, their physical attacks become less powerful, and their body can be cut more easily.

Flush -

"Body Bind" : This spell magically binds the opponent's limbs. It does not physically hold their body into place, but any attempts to physically attack will be met with failure. It wears off after a short while (probably after the opponent's post is completed), but a strictly physical attacker will find themselves helpless during this time. This spell can only be used if the value of the cards in the hand add up to an odd number.

"Mental Bind" : This spell clouds the mind of an opponent. While basic thought can be carried out, any attempt at using a psychic, magic, or energy attack will fail. It lasts as long as Body Bind does, but an opponent who relies on non-physical attacks will be left helpless during this time. This spell can only be used if the value of the cards in the hand add up to an even number.

Full House -

Move Copy : Tea can attempt to use a duplicate of one of her opponent's moves. If the three of a kind is low, she can only use simpler attacks that she's seen her opponents use. If it's high, however, she can copy the most complex of moves, and her cards can reveal to her moves that her opponent has yet to even use. The strength of the pair determines what kind of strength the move is used at. A lower pair means that she can only pull off an amateur, weak attempt at the move, while a high pair will allow her to use the move at full strength, as if she's mastered the skill.

Four of a Kind -

"Kitten Call" : Tea can cause the kitty plushie on the end of her broom to move with a will of it's own, and using a growth spell, increases it's size to monstrous proportions. This "golem" then assists Tea in whatever way neccesary. Upon being destroyed, it regenerates at it's normal size back onto her broom.
"Exceed" Effect : "Giant Growth" - The bare form of the growth spell, Tea can make anything (or anyone) grow to a gigantic size. This may be coupled at her discretion with a mind control ability, giving her the option of making anything (or anyone) her golem. This spell is reversed either at her will, and the destruction of her golem results in it returning to normal size and breaking free of mind control. They will be unconscious, but not dead. The spell also wears off after a full day if not reversed otherwise.

Straight Flush -

"Elemental Fury" : Tea can cause her cards to gain an elemental charge in addition to becoming razor sharp. On contact, the card will explode with whatever element she charged the card with. She can continuously use the cards in this fashion until she draws again.

Five of a Kind -

"Oblivion" : Tea's most powerful offensive magic. All five cards home in on the target, and upon attaching themselves to it, each one explodes at a very high intensity. Even the lowest strength cards can do massive amounts of damage with this spell, but the high cards can cause devestating damage to an extreme degree. Most average-strength opponents will not come out of a 5 king hand alive... and most likely will be completely obliterated by the attack.

Royal Flush -

"Royal Treatment" : Tea's most powerful defensive spell, this completely heals any and all wounds of the target and completely restores their stamina. She generally uses this spell on herself, but it can be used on any living creature.

One Joker - If one Joker is in the drawn hand, all stat changes to both Tea and her opponent are canceled out. This affects both increases and decreases in strength and other attributes, and any sort of transformations that have occured will be reversed. A Joker will also freeze the current hand, and Tea will not be able to draw any more cards until it is used.

Two Jokers - If two Jokers are in the drawn hand, in addition to the stat changes canceling, Tea's magic goes haywire, and the growth spell used for her kitty plushie is accidentally turned onto her. As a result, she grows to a massive size, and is unable to access her cards at all, which are now too small for her to hold. The change in size gives her a significant increase in strength, but not being used to physical combat, she is not at a total advantage because of this.

Ace of Spades -

"Trump Card" : If Tea draws the Ace of Spades in her hand, she can use any of her spells at any strength (except for the Joker effects). She has two of the card, one in her deck and a spare in her hat. Once the one in her deck is used, it is returned to the deck, but if she uses the spare in her hat, it is lost until the battle ends.

"Exceed" Effects : Upon drawing the Ace of Spades as well as at least one other ace, she can surrender her chance to select a spell at any strength and instead use a super-powered version of certain spells. Some of these spells come with drawbacks, and she cannot use the Ace of Spades in her hat to gain these effects. See above for details on specific exceed spells.

Spells she can use without her cards -

"Card Gather" : Tea can cause all of her cards to regenerate and gather back into a deck in her hand, even if the cards are completely scattered or destroyed. This doesn't work if she's pulled two Jokers (see above).

"Card Shuffle" : Tea can, without touching the deck, completely shuffle it to randomize the order of the cards.

Slowing of Time : Tea is able to slow down time to allow her to draw cards without being attacked. This only applies to when she is drawing cards, and she is only able to keep time slowed long enough to complete her hand. She cannot slow time for anyone but herself. The basic result of this is that, to opponents, she will seem to have instantaniously drawn a hand, removing the chance to attack her while she's in the process of drawing.

Broom : Tea has a broom, which she can use to fly around on, typically sitting side saddle. This is mainly used for travel, and she rarely walks if she doesn't have to. Most of her fighting is done on foot, however. The broom is a simple wooden one with straw bristles, and her favorite kitty plushie is tied to the front of it as a charm (and possible Golem - see above).

Quirks -

Despite her spells being linked to poker hands, Tea is very bad at the game of poker itself. Her master, who had been patient with her for years with her magical lessons, declared her a lost cause at learning to play poker after several attempts to teach her the game.
The Kitty plushie that she has tied to her broom is the only thing that she has remaining from her childhood. It has been cleaned and repaired quite a few times throughout her life, and looks relatively new, but is actually almost as old as she is.
Tea's original name is unknown, but she is most likely of Italian descent. Though there is nothing to link her to her heritage, Biagio Giuvanni, her "rival" of sorts in treasure hunting, has claimed without doubt that he recognizes her as a fellow Italian.
Tea cannot stack her deck, or otherwise cheat at attempting to get certain hands. Any attempts she has made to force a certain hand have been met with failure. Even though she may get the hand she's looking for, it seems the pact with her deck will not allow her to cheat, and she won't be able to use a spell.
Tea has increased her skill with her cards enough to be able to create a pact with a new deck almost instantly. For it to work, however, the deck must have all of the cards, unaltered. Tea had attempted at one point to create a deck with nothing but Aces of Spades, only to find that she could get none of them to work.
Tea seems to have a very mild, unexplained dislike for the letter "S". Which is odd, considering that her trump card is of the only suit to actually start with that letter.
Unlike her master, Tea feels very little obligation to hide her magical abilites. She travels using her broom even in places where it causes commotion, and it has gotten her into trouble more than once.
Even when getting the five of a kind hand for Oblivion, Tea does not often opt to use the spell, due to the massive chance of killing the target. It is very rare that Tea ever feels a need to kill her opponents, and it does not sit well with her if she does, whether intentionally or not.
The effects of the Jokers seem to be less of an intentional handicap, and more of a forced one due to misfire of her magical skill and the tendency to unintentionally cause things to happen automatically. At one point, this happened with all of the cards, but Tea has managed to reduce accidents to the two cards alone, though they now happen at a much greater level.
The two Joker effect came about after a misfire of her growth spell. After it finally wore off (and after quickly replacing her destroyed clothing), she immediately set that specific effect to the least likely hand possible to attempt to avoid it from occuring again. It was successful, and the accident never occured again on its own, though the possibility of both Jokers appearing in a hand leaves her rather nervous at times.
The character is, for the most part, based off of me, in personality and appearance (excluding the outfit), though obviously not in story.

Name: Millard Randall
Aka: Blitz, Lightning, Mirage
Age: 29
Race: Human (ESPer)
Skills/weapons/abilities: IMMENSE library of martial arts/2 swords + 3 throwing knives in right sleeve + 1 grappling hook in left sleeve/ESP powers

History:
As an ESP(Extra Sensory Perception)er, he used to work in the military as their best agents, together with his brother Alex. Their ESP ability allows them to heighten their senses, agility, dexterity and reflex to superhuman level, as well as minor premonition ability (not psychic powers). However, one day Millard betrayed the military and deserted, leaving his brother behind, and a pile of corpses of those who tried to stop him. For 7 years he had been missing, with no information whatsoever about his whereabouts. It was revealed then that he had been leading a band of exceptionally dangerous individuals from various backgrounds, bent on slaughter and carnage. But is slaughter and carnage all they're after, really?

In combat, Millard doesn't have any magic abilities. He is, however, able to move in such speed that most of his enemies would not realize what's coming to them until it's too late. His vast array of martial arts and sword techniques are also nothing to laugh about; He is known to have killed a person with an attack that looks like a simple pat to the left chest (where the heart is). On some occasions, he has utilized what he calls his "killing intent" to manifest itself and affect the physical world to a certain degree. Combined with his ability to detect incoming attacks, he would prove to be an extremely difficult foe to take down indeed.

(Favorite) Techniques:

Ironfist Style:
-Iron punch: A relatively simple technique of this branch of martial art, it involves strengthening one's fists, and deliver a very powerful blow, to the point that it can easily crush rocks.

-Steel Body: A defensive technique, it allows the user to harden their body to resist blows. Due to the concentration it requires, however, Millard cannot move as fast as before.

Light Style:
-Wind Walk: Allows one to move at high speed, leaving only blurs to be seen. Not that Millard cannot move in blinding speed on his own, but this technique is the basic technique of the martial school.

-Sky Walk: Lightens one's body, and allow them to travel on fragile areas without causing any damage, or allow them to jump to incredible height. This does not allow them to jump again mid-air though.

Gentle Style:
-One-Inch Punch: The famous technique. It involves creating innate explosive energy, which is then placed in a punch delivered at close range of 0-6 inches. The victim of this technique could be blown for several feet back.

Self-Styled Techniques:
-Blade: Hardens the limbs, which can be then used as slicing weapon when swung in high speed. Based on the Ironfist Style.

-Adamant Soul: Millard's ultimate defense technique. This technique is Ironfist Style's Steel Body technique, reinforced by Gentle Style's Chi manipulation. Very few attacks have managed to budge Millard while performing this technique, let alone penetrate it. The only downside is that he cannot move as long as he uses this technique.

-Featherfall: Based on the Light Style, this technique lightens one's body greatly, that it allows them to survive from a big fall, or to take on a tremendously powerful blunt force without any harm.

-Blast Impact: A powered-up version of the One-Inch Punch; This technique can blow the victim back for several metres.

-Shatter Impact: A variant of the Blast Impact. Delivered at touch range (the fist must touch the victim before this technique could work), this technique delivers the blow directly to the victim's innards. The victim may not be budging at all when Millard uses this technique, but their inner organs would be shattered and causing (usually) fatal wound.

-Resonate Impact: A variant of the Shatter Impact. Delivered with the palm instead of the fist, this technique is used against enemies hiding behind walls. The wall would not be damaged at all from this technique, but it will serve as a conductor to the force this blow delivers, and it would hit the person behind it. However, the damage it delivers is the least among the other 2 variants.

-Air Render: Based on the Gentle and Light Style, this technique requires one to move their limb with such speed that it would create gust of wind that is powerful enough to rend flesh. The range and power is not that great though.

-Air Slicer: Basically Air Render using swords, its simply a more powerful version of the Air Render.

-Terra Slicer: An even more powerful version of the Air Slicer, this technique is performed on the ground, causing a ripple of slicing wind to travel across the ground, splitting them apart (to an extent).

-Mirage Strike: Millard moves in such speed that his enemy would still see a leftover image (mirage) of him, while he's already behind the enemy, poised to strike. Usually performed with swords.

-Mirage Dance: Moves around the battlefield (a relatively small one, that is) in such speed that it creates an illusion of 5 Millards fighting at the same time.

-Mirage Execution: Mirage Dance performed against a single target. Simply fatal and unavoidable.

-Intimidation: Millard focuses his killing intent in a target, which would demoralize the target, or simply paralyze them to a certain extent. However, if the target is strong enough, s/he might be able to resist the effect of this technique. Eye contact is necessary. Against a "sensitive" person (another ESPer, for instance), however, eye contact may not be necessary.

-Pressure: Millard focuses his killing intent on the area, bringing tremendous pressure to the surrounding. Ground cracks, plants wither, and the air becomes difficult to breathe in. It would also push anyone not strong enough to resist the effects to their knees, like a giant invisible hand is pressing their body down to the ground.

This is the best I can do for now. I had to do it pretty quick.
My character's had a few things changed and stuff since I last used her to o.o yeah...

Name: Ruby Goru
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Height: 5"7
Weight: N/A
Hair: Ruby Red - Thigh Length, tied back with a gold band.
Eyes: Ruby Red

Appearance: Ruby wears a dark blue dress, with gold fabric trim, a right sleeve - leaving her left arm uncovered, the dress reaches mid-thigh, with slits on either side so that she can move around easy. She wears a gold bracelet
on her left wrist and two gold rings on each ankle. She has ankle-high brown boots. They look slightly warn and dirty but they're tough and
can handle any condition. On top of this, Ruby looks somewhat slender and fragile. She is often underestimated because she doesn't look
like a woman who can handle herself.
She has slightly tanned skin but nothing that stands out much.

Personality: Ruby is a fun loving adventure. She quite enjoys getting her own way and won't often help others out of the kindness of her own heart. She likes to know that there's something in it for her. She can come off as harsh and insensitive but if anyone were to make friend out of her, they would realize that she just doesn't trust to easy. It's pointless to help people you don't know without knowing that there's something worth-while in it for yourself, at least, that's her view.
It isn't often that she smiles, she travels alone so has no one to laugh or smile with so she always has a straight or angry look on her face.

Story: Ruby grew up in a small mountain village. The residents didn't welcome outsiders or leave the village. They lived their lives hidden
from the world. On her 10th Birthday, Ruby received a ruby from her father. A grand and sparkling gem it was, too. She fell in love with the gems that shared her name and secretly promised herself that one day she would leave the village and make all of the worlds Rubies her own.

When she turned 16 Ruby found some documents about her fathers mining business and discovered that he was cheating his workers - not to mention fellow villagers - out of their wages. He was doing all he could to make sure that he had more money and gems that anyone else. - Shortly after this, the villagers became cold and angry towards her father and even her. Ruby tried to warn her father about what would happen if he didn't change and become a "Better person."
He refused to listen and shut his daughter out. Ruby became cold toward other humans, her father had thrown out all of her happy memories just like that...As if it didn't matter...So she left the village - for a short while, at least. - She returned one week later to find that the village was empty.

After looking for information around the village she found that her father had trapped everyone in the mine, not wanting anyone else to gain the riches that he desired, he caused a cave-in and killed himself along with all of the villagers.
-
Ruby left the village, hoping to leave her memories there, too. She set out to find what she desires. It has been 3 years since she last saw her home.

Weapon: Giant Hammer - Official Name: The Back-Breaker

Weapon Info: The Back-Breaker weighs around a ton. The Hammer itself is made of what could be called "Average Stone."
It was designed by Ruby's late father and can take almost anything. It is near-enough unbreakable.

Abilities: Ruby does not posses any special abilities. No special moves or attacks. She just goes all out and fights in her own way.

Strengths: Due to where she raised, Ruby fights and travels well on rocky/mountainous terrain. She is a very skilled climber and has the ability to jump higher than the average human.
As long as she lands on her feet, she can take quite a fall, too.

Weakness: When she becomes overwhelmingly emotional - Extremely angry or upset - She loses most of her strength. Her aim becomes terrible and she finds it a struggle to fight. Luckily, there isn't much that can put her in such a state but it is possible. In such a situation she normally relies on outside help. She has never been in a situation like that alone and can get through it quite fast, provided she can stay calm long enough for her to "get a grip".

Just two quick ones, specific to Afterworld only.

EDIT : Both of them are NPCs, meaning that as long as they're kept in character in non-combat situations, anyone can write for them. I don't think any major battles will occur with them in it, but in the case that they do, I'll RP them.

Name : Death (Yin)
Race : ???
Age : ???
Height : 4'9"
Gender : Female (judging from appearances)

Appearance : Death appears as a young girl, wearing a simple and somewhat childish black dress. When she appears, she is usually seen leaning against the pole to her massive scythe, which is easily three times her size. She has long curly black hair, and blood red eyes. She constantly has a very sad look on her face, but her features are not very frightening, save for the unnerving color of her eyes.

Personality : Death tends to be calm, talking in a soft, gentle voice. One might almost call her kind, and she seems almost sad at having to take life away from those who's time has come. She appears to those who have a positive and kind disposition. In Afterworld, she appeals to the desire to return to the world of the living, discouraging attempts to gain power in Afterworld.

Abilities : While Death has no need nor desire to enter into combat, she is deceptively strong for her appearance, and can wield her enormous scythe with seemingly no effort at all. Being immortal, she seems to rarely have a need to show any aggression at all, but when pushed to self-defense, she can devestate any enemy who is stupid enough to attack her.

---

Name : Death (Yang)
Race : ???
Age : ???
Height : 6'
Gender : Male (judging from appearance)

Appearance : Death appears as a young man, with a slim but fit build. He wears a large black cloak, but leaves his face uncovered. His black hair stands backwards from his head, giving a hedgehog-like look to his hairstyle. His eyes are blood red, and his face typically wears a smirk. He weilds a scythe that is only slightly taller than he is, but the blade extends twice the length of the pole it's attached to, making for a very intimidating weapon. His features are not ugly, but he boasts a rather intimidating appearance.

Personality : Death tends to be energetic, speaking with a loud, aggressive voice. He tends to be rather blunt, and though he does not lie, he tends to tell the truth in the cruelest way possible. He seems to rather enjoy taking life, though he never takes it from those who's time has not yet come. He appears to those who have a negative and cruel disposition. In Afterworld, he appeals to those seeking power, and encourages a stay in Afterworld (whether temporary or permanent), and discourages forgoing any chance at gaining strength from the world.

Abilities : Death does not fight unless in self-defense, but with those he appears to, it is not rare for that to happen. Being immortal, he has no life-threatening need to fight, but he rather enjoys the chances he gets, and eagerly takes the opportunity when he gets it. His scythe is not as overwhelmingly large as his counterparts, but it covers a wide area, and he can wield it with incredible speed and force.

Tessa, I like how you made the girl's scythe bigger than the guy's. Or was that an accident?

Here's Raniel as he was in life.

Name: Raniel
Age: 22
Race: Human
Sex: Male
Class: Weapons master
Hair color: Black
Eyes: Green

Distinguishing features: He has a scar on his left hand, front and back, where his hand was stabbed completely through earlier in his life.

Personality: Harsh, bitter, and a bit cruel. The one thing he loves is his weapons.

Clothing: Dark blue steel armor with blood red edges. His shoulder plates come somewhat upwards. He wears a black cape, and his steel mask covers only his mouth.

Fighting style: He is adept in most forms of weaponry, but masterful at horseback fighting and polearms.

Weapons: His favorite is the spear called Makkayari, also carries an unnamed single-handed longsword and katals.

Makkayari: This spear is made with somewhat of a poisonous metal. When someone is cut by this, they bleed. Alot. The poison within it slows down blood clotting, which can make even a small wound lead to death by blood loss.

It wasn't an accident, and the size of each Death's scythe has nothing to do with their strength. Both are meant to be equal in the power they wield, they just wield it differently.

You're really stuck on the genders of both Deaths, aren't you?

I spoke to Sora, and thought I'd post more info on Jake

Background: Jake grew up in a village that was so poor that most people living there had to steal just to survive, and Jake was no different. Eventually, it became a habit, and rather than work hard, if he wanted something, he would just take it. Along the way, he wound up stealing from a secret forces organization of sorts, and made a lot of enemies. He eventualy married and had kids, but his kids don't know about his stealing.

A few examples of items he's stolen: Food, weapons, money, a ring for his wife, items of value to be resold.

No, I just like the ambiguity of the smaller one with the bigger scythe.

Dark Luther

This character was origianally from an RPG that I had with my friends..., most of the back story is similar to what happened, though I adjusted it to fit this story better...

I renamed him Luther, to make it easier for the new game,
and somewhat based him on myself - though I made him more centrally aligned than good..., along with perhaps a bit more serious and sarcastic...
( but I'm generally like that with people I don't like or know anyway..., so it's pretty accurate...)

Name : Luther Vhanya ( Vhan )
Race : Half Baelish, Half Human
Age : 26 ( almost 27 )
Height : 5' 7''
Gender : Male

Appearance:
Dressed always in the same manner...,
Black or light brown pants, and boots binded with leather rope around the ankles...,
an old brown shirt and an over-shirt, usually white with the sleeves too long reaching the tips of his fingers...
He wears a straw hat, though not all the time...

He is somewhat relatively short and thin...
His hair is short an black - and his skin a light tanned brown...
He often shaves but always seems to have a 5 o'clock shadow...,
despite this, he seems much younger than his age - and often is mistaken for being younger...( specially because of his height, which makes him really angry...)
As he is part Baelish and part human, he seems completly human as baelish are human looking anyway, but something seems off...( he also has strong red eyes as all Bael do ).

Personality:
He's not particularly a good person - at least that's what he keeps telling himself...
he's also not a bad person..., though he admits he made mistakes in the past...
He is generally very polite, and has an air of respect and calm towards all situations..., well - almost...

When he is angry, or has had enough of something, he is generally quite serious and sarcastic - particularly with people he finds offensive...

He hates being cocky, or appearing elitest and proud -
but though he tries, he many times comes off that way, and only people who are used to him tend to look past it...,
it is with them were he shows to be truly humble and friendly...

Despite such he shows to be surprisingly kind to strangers, or even people he dislikes - just for the sake of it feeling right for him ( though he often dislikes it... ).

In the end, he's arrogant and stubborn - and will explode in rare occasions when ignored at an important moment...
But he is calm, understanding, and attentive...

Beyond all this, all one sees of him is rather a wide eyed curious expression, as he wanders around...,
or an serious, somewhat angered look, whenever in thought or wary of possible threat...

Story:
Born to lower nobility, in the city state of Illyria...,
a bit south of the city in a small coastal town...

This was only for a few years, as he attended academy, and worked on the family stables...
It would end with a plot -
The ruling houses of the city state split - some laying their stake with traitors who had the support of a foreign power...,
others remaining loyal to the ruling nobility and fighting against foreign domination...

It was at night that they broke in to the house..., the army was now in control of the traitors ( those who opposed fled to the mountains...).
Soldiers of Lucini had been aiding them..., and had taken control of the city from the inside...,
now all those who had stayed loyal would be eliminated...

Personal bodyguards of Luther's father held for only minutes as the soldiers overwhelmed them - his father, always a crude yet good man thus stood at the last doorway..., as Luther's mother took him away, through a trap door..., outside.
he hated the memory of her closing the door behind them...

Once out, the locals aided them..., but not to the mountains.
Luther had hoped to join the units that had fled west to the mountain ranges - to plan a retaking of the capital...,
but his mother - a Bael - placed them on the boat of a Bael merchant, her brother...
Away they would sail..., until reaching the lands of the orient...

He would not settle here though - and with time, he would train quickly - and continue his weapons training while there...
Attaining use in the Odachi, he began looking to improve his training with a variety of weapons - but more importantly picking up tricks and skills to use in a fight...

He would continue his training as he left his mother and joined the caravans west - running through the long wastes...,
eventually reaching his old home again...
only to find..., things had changed.

Illyria was now under the control of Lucini -
the traitors now rulers - though pawns of a foreign power...
and only a shred of the rebellion that had once existed...
He had forgotten how much time had passed...,
he himself was no longer a boy...

He left a broken man, and left to vent out his anger by ravaging the countryside of Lucini as a highwayman and ranger...,
he eventually became friends with a bussiness man who offered him a great future with a guild...
little did he know he would be signing away his life to it...

Ability:
Luther has a long study of Iaijutsu - and uses the intense focus coming from it to gain incredible cutting power..., but only when he has focused and drawn the blade...
He also has long studied how to fight unconventionally, and always has a differant inventive way to fight dirty...

He also uses a weighted chain at the side butt end of his sword, coming to great use to disarm...,
while also being quite proficient at using Bolas - a skill from his childhood in the stables...

He has limited arcane ability ( from time in his mercenary life as an assasin ) - and combines it with his knowledge of herbology - to ready his variety of simple spells at hand in the form of potions...

His spells include:
Regular minor spells not worth mentioning...
- Invisibility ( only until he attacks though )
- Summon Darkness ( summons area of darkness that no light can penetrate )
- Summon Fog ( summons fog to appear )
- Summon Silence ( summons an area of complete silence - no sound can penetrate )
- Instill Silence ( Silences a person for a few second until they can overcome it )
- Shield ( oval shield of invisible energy that deflects projectiles )
- Ebony eyes ( allows him to see in total darkness..., turns his eyes completly black...)

( though he has a range - he is limited to only a couple at most in a day - afterwards he is drained..., and depending on the spell, suffers after effects later that night....

He also uses a wide variety of poisons - in the form of 6'' pins, throwing spikes, daggers, and darts...
his supply is limited though until he acquires more...
( one trick is to plant stashes of the source in hidden areas and come back for them on occassion )

Finally, his sword is capable of it's own abilities - primarily the ability of mercy. His excuse being to be able to take prisoners for ransom on certain missions - in reality it was because he feels trouble with killing further on occasion...
the sword instead draws away the person's life force - knocking them unconscious...
He knows of other possibilities, but has yet to make them work...

Sword: Yuugao ( named for the color the blade reflects at sunset )

Wooden Shikomi-Zue [ 29'' full tang ] ( appears as long slightly curved cane ). Adjustment in the back allow to attach chain to the end of the handle. Grooves near the edge sides pull out to reveal small needles that go inside the handle.
Blade is a milky white damascus...

( chain consists of small curved links with a hook weight at one end and a pointed weight at the other - either side could be attached to the end of the sword... )

Quirks
- Sometimes likes to chew on a long toothpick - but eventually complains it gave him a splinter and throws it away...
- Has a habit of mixing up words, which is ironic because he speaks elequently most of the time - but seems the opposite as he stumbles on a set of words...
- Similar to this, he has a habit of forgetting the word for something ( or familiar names ), and will stop mid sentence wondering what the word is for something - or also mixing up or again simply forgetting names...doing the same...
- Explains things in an extremly detailed, long, and confusing fashion that never gets to the point...
- Has a habit of drawing out a lot of detail when telling a story, and getting side tracked and off subject - again, never getting to the point...
- Constantly cracks his wrist, fingers, neck, and jaw...;
and is amuzingly deathly afraid of getting arthritis - even in death...
- Always fidgets with a few folded cards he used to use to hussle people when younger...
- Tends to be overtly curious if not a bit nosy with new people, depending on the person - in a friendly or serious way...
- Has a bad habit of always correcting people...
- Will hear something wrongly to a very drastic effect - usually something no where close to what the person actually said...
- Though in particularly good health - he is prone to very rare times when strong head aches or pains to his heart will bring him to the floor..., fading away seconds later with no trace..., he has yet to understand it, but tries to forget about it after a while...

Edit: Modern day quirks,
- Thinks Lab coats can be worn like regular clothes...
- Wears sunglasses at night because of eye problems...
- Is partially colorblind, and often blames things on that - things not having a thing to do with that...

My character is in developement.

Edit: He's still in developement, but I finally got around to working on him some what.
Edit II: Gave up on Shikon. Realized that I couldn't complete his design without making him OP or Mod.

Name: Rain
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Height: 5'6''
Personality: He's a calm person, whom doesn't really look on the "bright side of things." He claims to be a collection of all the world's sadness.

Element: Water

Mizuken - Rain's sword. He carries around with him wherever he goes using it's ability to take any form of moister. He can gather moister into a liquid state faster when it's in his possession, even if he's not using it.

This is all for now.
