^_^ I am bringing to you all the FF8 quiz! It works the way other quizzes do, where I ask the questions and j00 gimme the answers. Now, please read the rules or be whipped by Kenny.

~THE RULES~

-5 questions will be asked, and until all are sufficiently answered there will be no more.

-A maximum of 3 answers can be given in one post, and only one post will be allowed per day.

-Harder questions get you more points. If a member correctly answers one of the more difficult questions, they will gain a star next to their name on the scoreboard. 5 stars earn you a bonus question worth 3 points.

It IS possible! If you level up with Seifer Squall and Zell or Selphie Squall and Zell in Dollet on the SeeD Exam then the Galbadian soldiers can be high enough level to be able to Draw Curaga, Firaga, Blizzaga and Thundaga. I should know cuz I would level them high enough for the 'Aras.

Quetzacotyl and Shiva are acquired by panel / Quistis
Ifrit is defeated in Fire Caverns
Siren is drawn from Elnoyle in Dollet

both 1 and 2 can require work to get 3 and 4 requires battles.

hey sephy. dude i really dont think there are any. but i dont Gilgamesh, he is technically a GF and if u dont have odin when u have to fight that battle with siefer you cant get gilgamesh ever again.

gah well here are gfs repeated in Ultimecias castle so you technically can miss Doomtrain (666 items), Siren (Elvoret and Sphinxaur i think), Leviathon (Norg), Carbuncle (Iguion), Bahamut (sidequest), Odin (side quest), gilgamesh (through not getting Odin), Pandemona (Fuijin), Eden (Ultimate Weapon, Tiamat), Brothers (tomb of the unknwon king), Alexander the list goes on.

Really you can miss all but Quetzacotyl, Shiva and Ifrit if you choose to.

But I'll say Brothers since you cant enter the tomb on disc 4, Cerebus since hes only in when you attack galbadia garden, carbuncle since you draw them from a 1 time boss, Siren also one time boss, Alexander due to drawing from Edea in galbadia, Pandemona from Fuijin, Doomtrain with 66 items, all the speciality summons, cactuar, and tonberry.

i agree its pretty vague. well first of all let me correct u:
Cerebus since hes only in when you attack galbadia garden, carbuncle since you draw them from a 1 time boss, Siren also one time boss, Alexander due to drawing from Edea in galbadia, Pandemona from Fuijin

Cerberus, Carbuncle, Siren, Alexander, and Pandemona can all be drawn from bosses in Ultmecia's Crib...lol
Cerberus= Gargantua
Carbuncle= Krysta
Siren= Tri-Point
Alexander= Catoblepas
Pandemona= Red Giant

I do agree that if u really want to u can miss all of them except for the first three...well now that i think about it. I want someone to correct me on this but do u need to draw Quezacotl and Shiva from the computer thing? or can u just not draw them then go fight Ifrit?

Another thing i dont understand is that yeah u can miss like brothers or bahumut, but u have like A WHOLE DISK to get them. so....yeah....im very confused on this question.

lol i normally look at my guide for drawing gfs in ulti's palace since i always forget who goes where.

Quetzy and Shiva you can either:

a) draw from the pc
b) get from Quistis upon leaving Balamb Garden

either way you have to get them to progress.

And i missed out on Brothers and bahamut the first time i played through. Didnt go deep enough into the tomb and didnt scoure the planet for the deep sea research facility.

Qustion 4: by most powerful what do you mean? Zantetsuken kills, and Excalibur and Masamune do damage so either of the three could be classed as most powerful.
Question 5: Odin, Chicobo, Phoenix, Gilgamesh, Minimog, Moomba

Excaibpoor - 1 hp damage
Excalibur - damage
Masamune - damage

yea but (i dont wanna make any wrong assumptions, so im sorry if im wrong) im asumming u didnt grow up around a japanease culture. if you did u may have thought that MASAMUNE was the most strongest sword. but since im assuming u grew up in an english culture you would have thought excaliber to be the strongest sword and acually, didnt even no what masamune was till u play FF or sumthing

well.. there is that masamune and the ... marsamune... witch were both very strong swords in the age of the samuria..... one means the taker of blood and one is the opposite. i think that the masamune is the one without... and that is y when u see aries die, there is not blodd of the sword, b/c the sword "absords" the blood of its enemies..... butt... seeing as whats his face isnt doing the qiz once again....

well as soon as you get the ragnarock on disc3 you can get every summon. Balamb grden unlocks all but 2 i believe.

no it kinda is since the deep sea research can open up bahamut and eden but can also be reached by balamb garden. The jumbo cactuar can only be accessed after the ragnarock is in your possession. As for the other 'summons' choco is on a pocket station after you clear chocobo forests, which can be before the ragnarock if you know where to go, moomba is an item that i have no friken idea where to get since its that damn rare, phoenix is also an item and minimog is a command for a summon.

So the startoing point for every summon is dic 3 ragnarock.

Ok, Sephy I'm happy for you to take over this quiz. By the way, the Gilgamesh sword attack is Sable Justiciero.

BTW, The Moomba attack is called Friendship. I have a cheat disc thing that you can get the item with to use Moomba, its cool.

it is very off the topic... but i help anyways...

u go there and he ask's u a ?.... i think u answer the first one... u fight.
then he asks another ?.... and its the second answer..... u fight...
then the last ? that he askes u is a hidden answer all the way at the bottom... and u fight him. after that, u get him. at the bottom of the lab is ultima weapon.. so make sure ur ready...

some of those answers may be wrong.. its been a long while since i have played the game....
