RPing is fun. It allows you to beomce someone you're not, read and write some good stories, improves your creativity, and is just a great thing in general. However...
There is one problem that leaves children screaming and men crying that we should all watch out for:
GOD RPERS
(Example story not necessary to read)
Among the shadows, the god rper lurks, waiting to prey upon unsuspecting victims. Our heroes are journeying to slay a dragon that has terrorized thousands of villiages for thousands of years, and they begin the attack. Their swords are of no use! Only enchanted steel, found in the depths of the mountains, will pierce this mighty beast's thick skin! But suddenly... the god rper STRIKES!
"here guys i can make enchanted steal with my hands now so i hitz the dragon and i pwns it"
Terror runs through the rest of the team. A tragedy has befallen this team worse than death. If only something could have been done to prevent this...

A God RPer is someone who plays as a overpowered character. The god rper is the only one that matters in its own eyes. I will be the hero that saves everyone, and everyone will love me, it thinks. It thinks wrong. In fact, EVERYONE hates god rpers. You may be wondering, How can I prevent god rpers from happening?
KNOW THE EARLY SIGNS:
1) Undercapitalized postings about only themselves. This is a symptom, however it is not sufficient to diagnose the individual.
2) Character description. Easier shown than told.

Hopefully these weeds will be rooted out early enough. But what happens if a god rper slips through?
1) Reprimand it.

NO! BAD GOD RPER! BAD! NO! God RPers may not understand human language, but they still can tell by your tone they've doen something wrong. Rub their noses in it if neccessary.
2) Ridicule them. This may not always work, but you can still get a few laughs at them.
3) SMITE THEM! This is to be used as a last resort. God does not like to br Rped as, and shall get very angry at those that repeatedly do so. Thus sayeth the lord. In otherwords, their character dies in a freak accident.
The world's most famous God RPer is Superman. Sure he has his weaknesses... er weakness... but its an uncommon element and really does not hurt him all that much. Turning back time is also a big no-no.
Batman is a much better RPer. He is a normal human with inteligence and technology on his side. The X-Men are the best yet, each of them confines their abilities to one field.
On one final note, a related illness is Power Playing. This involves role playing someone else's character into a corner, or not giving them a chance to respond when there is a possibility they could avoid their fate.
God RPers are a problem, but with a little knowledge, our world will live in harmony once again. This has ben a PSA from Yvl9921.
