this is how the reputation system works

-For every 30 days of membership, [user] gains 1 point of rep power
-For every 100 posts, [user] gains 1 point of rep power
-For every 10 rep points gained, [user] gains 1 point of rep power

-Minimum rep required for rep hits to count: 10
-Minimum posts required for rep hits to count: 100

If you see a post that you like and agree with, add positive rep. If you see a post that poor and especially if it breaks the rules, give a negative rep.

I will not tolerate any abuses of this system. If you think you have been given a negative rep unfairly, show either me or Neo Eternal the post, and tell us who gave you it. You can see your rep hits in the User CP (they appear under your subscriptions)

these are the positive reputation levels...

0, User is Neutral
50, User is just starting, but a good start it is
100, User is off to a very good start
200, User is a respected member of the community
400, User has the admiration of a good number of peers
600, User is gaining popularity fast
800, User is respected by all the members
1000, User is a star, a bright shining star!
2000, User is truly an inspiration to all
4000, User is a brilliant tribute to humanity
10000, User transcends time itself
25000, User is truly a god among men

these are the negative reputation levels

-10, User is off to a shaky start
-50, User is a ruffian
-100, User is a common thug
-300, User seems destined for conflict
-500, User is a felon
-1000, User is an evil, evil meanie person
-5000, User has commited forum genocide
-10000, User embodies sin itself
-35000, User is the Devil himself

What's The Difference Between A Rep Point And A Rep Power?

nothing really. the points just add or take away from your reputation power. I have -35,000 points and my level is "User is the Devil Himself", and Johnny's is +25,000 points and his level is "User is truly a God among men". maybe that will clear things up a little.

Do The Little Boxes Right After Your Post Count Tell You Your Rep?

after getting a certain number of rep points, you get another box. (i dont know the exact number, btw)

Also, i have +30000, and xel'naga has -30000. Just so you know. The positive limit +32767 and the negative limit is -32767.
